I kinda sorta liked three or four Lauren songs prior to this album. All of a sudden, this self-titled album comes along and I feel like I've discovered a brand new artist I love! I'm in my late 50s, and I love classic soul/R&B as well as 70s pop and rock (60s to 80s, actually). But I'm always rooting for current music as well. Admittedly, though, I'm often disappointed by what I hear these days. This album feels fresh and vibrant but also deeply rooted in the best of classic pop and soul music. Love it, and I love the way she refers to it as a record, which is how I see albums.

Fantastic❤️ interview. Love EGO. Welsh Actor Antony Hopkins' talks about EGO. Thanks for sharing. I was introduced to Lauren's music when C*vid hit. Such a blessing. 🙏 My family make fun of me when I screech to songs in the kitchen. All in good humour. I love the father daughter bond my family have and the music they make together. Just watching the creation of Artists working together is such a real joy. ❤️🙏😇🙌 Good luck to Lauren. You have a beautiful angelic voice. And your songs are just wonderful. I send them to family. 😇❤️🙏

Speaking of ego, Firefighters, Teachers, and Nurses live to serve others. So, does ego have noble and ignoble sides to the idea? Do some egos feel complete by serving self, while others feel complete by serving others? The testament to Lauren's intellectual depth, is when she sings, talks, or does just about anything, her existence engenders great thought. Is ego a real thing? Or is ego a made up construct, like super-ego, etc.
@renegadeoftruth2891 Жыл бұрын
The concepts of human psychology are kind of like religion. They are more theoretical than actual science. So the concept of ego is definitely part of a man made construct used to describe human attitudes and behaviors.

So many missed opportunities for her to give just one single ounce of glory to God- just once in this podcast. 😞 prayers for Lauren to know her worth in Gods eyes as his beautiful beloved creation & to not be ashamed of God our Father- to use the talents He gave her to glorify Him & lead others to Jesus. 🫶🙏 prayers for Lauren’s healing/recovery & I pray for a genuine conviction in her heart to fully surrender her life to God who loves her immensely!! ❤ Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
@cristianportillo8270 Жыл бұрын
God knows if she is doing it for Him or for herself, even if she gave God "glory" in the sense of thanking Him or mentioning Him wouldn't necessarily mean that she was doing it genuinely

@@georgeandfriendsadventures5073 I just see her on this “Apple Music” which is catered to a secular span of viewers- so much opportunity to speak about how JESUS CHRIST is changing her heart & molding her life on the daily- but she only talks about herself & then mentions very vaguely some church experience- that part I can understand- more churches need to let people be vulnerable & share what they’re going through- the whole point of “the body” is to be supportive of each other. but she only says “the faith” she never gives glory to God once in this video… it saddens me enough to pray for her. It is loving to pray for someone & ask others to pray for them (like esp celebrities) who might not get prayed over enough

This is a strange conversation, words like Craft/ pagan...you have a Talent, gift from God, you speak about evolving? We are not evolving, we are born again...Speaking words that are new age and about me, me ,me is ungodly...because you have a beautiful voice and a beautiful appearance, why do I not hear you talk about Jesus the One who is always with you and protects you? Speaking about therapy....try praying and fasting. Church is a hospital for broken people. The Bible are the instructions for your life....read the psalms...and reject the World and everything it prommisses. Do not be lukewarm, give to the poor, be an Ambassador for Christ....If we live for Jesus, we get joy and all the things we need, not want we want. Be blessed in His name Lauren, and turn to Jesus always.
