I loved the I will always love you scene because she wasn't focused on sounding pitch perfect, she was focused on making the words mean something to her acting. I felt every word she sang even if it wasn't perfect the whole way through! I love Lauren and I think she has a great voice!

I believe she was trying to not sound like a real professional singer by inserting all of those amateurish phrasing pauses. It would be nice to hear how she sounds if she really tried to be a professional singer.
