Arian Mokhberi She lost because NFL players are more popular than singers from a girl group. Don’t get me wrong, she should’ve won, but football is the biggest sport in the country. Not everyone knew who Normani was, because not everyone listens to pop girl group music. She was clearly the best though.

MeAsMyself VMAs is strictly music. DWTS involves stars from all different industry’s. Maybe you don’t watch sports so you don’t realize how popular football really is and how popular football players are but they are far more popular than a single girl from a pop girl group. I’m not saying she didn’t deserve to win. She clearly did but that show is just as much about popularity as it is about talent. This kind of thing happens all the time on DWTS, a superior dancer loses to a more popular celebrity. Nothing new
