😂 But seriously, besides the personal issues people face that lead to them becoming homelessness, there’s also the systemic failure of inappropriate or inadequate public policy and funding. Those failures include not just housing but planning/zoning, public and mental health, education, criminal justice and different forms of discrimination. It’s a complex issue that deserves a considered response - not a band-aid, cost-inefficient solution.
