Love the book ‘A recipe for every day of the year’ As it pretty much solves the “what’s for dinner’ everyday conundrum and it’s a pretty gorgeous looking book too.

I think it has to be Nigel Slater...such a timeless classic that will stay on your shelf forever and continue to give you joy!

Thanks, Lauren, for a great gift guide! I think I would choose 'A Recipe for Every Day of the Year' as my favourite, but the novellas would also be fantastic!

If you have a humidifier, that would help the tree when you put the heat on but really, it's fine, just keep it watered. It's already dying, having the heat running won't really kill it faster.

The Party looks so beautiful and just the sort of thing I'd love to read in one sitting when I had nowhere to be over Christmas, that wins for me!

Looking forward to following your walks. The OS Maps app is the best thing I subscribe to! I'm gifting my Mum the biography Ethel by Helen Mort. Her campaigning led to the founding of the Peak District ie. the UK's first National Park and the book also features her poetry.

My husband bought me a copy of The Golden Mole when first released ... lovely book ... great weight in the hand if that makes any sense.
