It is such a satisfying feeling to hear a girl singing this song. Especially when they say ‘I’ve finally had enough’ I’ve watched a few other covers by females for this song but none of them really hit me as much as this one did. You ladies did an amazing. I’m absolutely blown away!!
@NathanRyan924 жыл бұрын
Absolutely agree. Though from the original, idk maybe it's my protective streak, but my mom was abused by my dad as a kid. As a grown man now, she sent me a pic of her with a black eye. Without any context I started calling my step dad to figure out where he was. It was about to get bad. (he didn't hit her, unrelated accident) But it just seems strange singing about it, and not doing anything about it.
@theafterofnevermore4 жыл бұрын
Well the song implies that whoever was being abused finally had enough. It’s more so from maybe a friends point of view and he’s warning the guy that ‘one day she will tell you she’s had enough’
@Willow45263 жыл бұрын
The original has such shitty audio quality it's really hard to listen to, that I've been looking for a cover that captures the originals magic, for lack of better words. Everyone but this one just couldn't hit the same way the singing comes across, particularly the way the female on the right sang is exactly what I mean.

LYRICS: Hey girl you know you drive me crazy One look puts the rhythm in my hand Still I'll never understand why you hang around I see what's going down Cover up with make up in the mirror Tell yourself it's never gonna happen again You cry alone and then he swears he loves you Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now, as she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's got to end As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect Every action in this world will bear a consequence If you wait around forever you will surely drown I see what's going down I see the way you go and say you're right again Say you're right again Heed my lecture Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now, as she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's got to end As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found Face down in the dirt She said "This doesn't hurt!" She said "I finally had enough!" Face down in the dirt She said "This doesn't hurt!" She said "I finally had enough!" One day she will tell you that she has had enough It's coming round again Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now, as she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's got to end As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now, as she falls to the ground? This song really hits home for me. One night an ex lost his cool and threw me down onto a set of stairs, and I already had a pretty existing back injury from breaking my L2 vertibrea in an accident. I threw him out of my place that night, and told him I never want to see his face again. I ended up in a wheelchair for almost a year before I could somewhat walk again. Now it still affects my mobility to this day. But I can get around with a cane. And he is long gone. I just wish I would have seen the signs sooner. But I am thankful to be out of that situation, and it has taught me a lot.

Their singer has a good voice but they can’t write their own songs for shit. They’re better at covering stuff

@@rossmusic25 They have albums tho, they was sign to Rise record if im not mistaken

@@indrarasmana3782 Yeah they have albums, and a few good songs as well. But they are indeed good at making covers too I'll give them that, which is exactly why I think they should collab and do a cover with Lauren, would simply be amazing.

The band is from my hometown and this was good, some parts of this song needed a woman's voice but they had a heavier version of this same song they used to play live (before record label changes) and since the label made them go softer for a "broader appeal" I can only hear it if I find one of the Demos for it, good job but if you can get your hands on that version; IMO that is the version y'all should cover. Great work though on this version of the song!

I honestly think that you guys doing Puddle of Mudd- "Blurry'" would be extremely nostalgic for this kind-of music but that you guys would put your own reverent spin on it while still keeping The original band's emotional and raw feeling about this song, (especially when /after you've watched the video and understand the concept and the different kinds of heartbreak in it,)

Isn't this the most iconic drum intro of all time?
