Lauren I TOTALLY know how you feel when you were talking about how you got inspo for "Brown Eyed Boys." I used to be that way too...falling in love with random guys I saw on Instagram or once in public and would instantly wonder if "they're the one." Only recently did I realize that my life isn't going to get better or all my problems solved if I find a guy. They'll only be resolved by the love of God! That ache that I had been feeling to be in a relationship can never be filled by a guy, even if he is "the one." Only God can fill it. I knew that, but it didn't really resonate with me until recently. Glad that's behind me now! I'm still prone to be dramatic as ever, but I just have to keep giving it to God and trusting that He'll bring along "the one" in His timing. I can use this season of singleness to get closer to Him anyway, and that's most important!

And the way she opened up about the second song... So much courage to be able to admit where she was mentally about this guy. But having the strength to say she was at such an unstable and unhealthy mindset for a boy that was probably no more than that, just a boy, no other positive attributes worth falling for, its just so respectable of her to do. I really do feel the first story though. Commitment is scary and if you do decide to be in a relationship, you gotta establish your boundaries. Everyone has their own boundaries and way to love so if they don’t respect your boundaries, you gotta leave. I’m the type of person that doesn’t want to hang out every day too and when my ex wanted to hang out every day, I always felt bad because I couldn’t make her happy so I totally understand what you were feeling with the first person

i really felt the story behind "Flames", i was very in love with someone, i was so obsessed with him. i know i shouldn't be like this but he became my reason for life and then i started hurting myself for him, i literally almost died. then he started dating a random girl and he wasnt really in love, he just wanted to make me jealous and i can say that it worked. they broke up in 2 months and ive been in love with him for 3 years and i just cant over him in my heart :(

Honestly all of these are super relatable 🤷🏻‍♀️when running came out I listened like 25 times a day not even exaggerating and I still listen at least once a week but every song on orange + blue I’m just like yep. Been there done that got the t shirt Ike they’re so relatable but also so catchy and the production is incredible I just stan so hard and I’m so excited to hear about more songs Edit: posted this right before the end and then heard you say “you need therapy” 😂 I was in therapy for years and agree that everyone should go because we all have stuff to work through 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would love to hear stories for atom bomb, rabbit hole, and ghost!
