I heard this song at my sons funeral today, it was his favorite song. He was only 43 years old and had 3 miracles in his life. He was 25 when he was given 12 hours to live. After the pastor and I laid hands on him we knew Jesus would let him live. He received a kidney from a living donor in church. He is in the medical journals as the sickest person from kidney failure ever to survive. Never give up on God to bring you up when your down, the church was packed with all the people he touched in his short life. I’m glad this was his favorite song and I’m glad he accepted Christ when I shared the gospel with him. I can’t wait to be in heaven with him and spend eternity with all my brothers and sisters in Christ it’s going to be awesome.😊🙏❤🦅

Though I never really paid attention to the words, the melody stuck with me so much that I looked for a lyric video to learn the words, and I found this one. Thank God I did. We all have a God sized hole in our heart. ❤️‍🩹 Some try to fill it with all the material trappings of this world but they never satisfy. Thank you Jesus! I don’t know where I’d be if I never found you. You know that! I was an unbeliever until about 47. I mocked God and blamed. But I’m 51 and I really could not have made it. I was at my end . I’m still having a heartbreak but I know if I did not find the Christian station k- live and the words of the song brought me to Jesus. The songs spoke to my situation. I started to read my Bible like Mama to me I prayed and prayed. I bought devotional books . When I pray oh yes I do get help from what they say. I read scriptures etc. I love Jesus because when I’m down even I’m not so good circumstances I will keep learning what God tells me. It’s never too late.

Lauren, your music, and all these comments help me not to fear so much what seems to be crashing down around us..When I was in school, the pressure was to be thin. I entered college a size 6, and as the normal "Freshman 15" became a struggle, I became bulimic trying to become a size 4. And I was nearly 5'8"... I recall throwing my guts up until I couldn't stop the nose bleeds or hold my food down.. Thank God...one night, alone in my dorm, bent over a basement bathroom toilet, I was reaching for the toiletpaper to wipe the tears, blood, and vomit off my face and realized the toiletpaper ring was empty... But as I looked closer, I saw faintly written on the brown empty ring were the words "Jesus understands" Oh.. God met me at that dark time in my life... I pray NOW He sends His loving Spirit and His angels on a beautiful rescue mission --Worldwide.. "He is near to the broken hearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18 "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.." James 4:8 "Come to me all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. The lady I adopted as my mom years ago, is in the hospital as I write this. I didn't get to see her at her house, didn't get to go with to follow in the ambulance. I was told she either had a stroke or a heart attack. I do get to pray for her. I'm praying God will hold her in His hands. I know she has a special bond with God.
