I’m a thirteen year old girl struggling through a lot of stuff and as much as a want to have a relationship with God, I feel like something is holding me back. Like I’m doing something wrong. My biological father left us, and even though I grew up visiting him once a year(because he never wanted to see us) most of the time it was only for a couple of hours. I have now stopped seeing him all together. He never loved me. There is other stress in my life that I don’t want to share(don’t worry I have never been abused or anything) but I also suffer from severe anxiety and depression. Please keep me in your prayers.

But that isn't true. I finally gave my life to Christ and it's the best decision I ever made. I don't have family problems, and I'm so sorry you have to go through that. I've been through a lot that I don't like to share, and I've been through depression. I know the struggle that you are in right now, and I know God sent me to tell you there is hope. Whatever you've done, whatever you've been through, there is a God in heaven who loves you, who sent His only son to die for you. Jesus didn't come for the perfect, got-it-all-together person. Ohhh, m'dear, I am so, SO very sorry for your loss. That is brutally heart wrenching and tragic. I will be praying for you frequently, as well as notifying our local Prayer Warriors groups. May the Creator fortify your heart and soul to help you through this horrendous time. May He shower you both with love, comfort and abundant blessings, even if you cannot see or acknowledge it at this time. Vent your grief/rage/confusion/etc over your loss as often and as hard as you need. Don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't. The Creator knows what is in our hearts anyway, so there is no point to bottling them up and having them fester out of control on you. Weeping/yelling/screaming out your pain will wash away some of the shock and allow your heart and soul to begin it's very hard journey to healing. I will NOT sugarcoat this.... The heavy burden of your great loss will NEVER EVER go away nor will the missing pieces of your heart and soul that had been your spouse's home ever be filled again. H O W E V E R . . . . With God's help, the pain WILL become easier to bear over time. One day in the future, you will suddenly realize that you can breathe easier as the heavy burden on your heart will have grown a bit lighter (Yes, just that suddenly, completely out of the blue!) One night I was sitting in my couch listening to this and I almost started crying and I think I got saved. I just want to say thank God for dieing on the cross so that we could have life and so we could live and I want to think God for everything he has done for me. Remember even when you are going through a tough time God is still with you even if you can not feel it. Remember when you wake up in the morning you are blessed with another day because you are not promised tomorrow. Think about when God died on the cross for us. He went through pain. He got nails stuck in his hands and his feet and bled for you so that you could have life. Next time when you go to church do not be scared to stand up and say something.

I when I fell in love with God late teens I was searching paths that left me to moral less devices and little accountability. Only some flawed philosophy. And selfish pride to the core. I would have argued in those years before seeking God that if the song wasn't overtly Christian then it wasn't. Here is the catch though people attach their emotion experience and understanding. Which differs person to person even the writer had dual meaning and intracacy unique to the individual. I began to hear music different when my women loves became bitter disappointment. And I sought companionship in God who I started to love and desire. Well it had been years. *Truly madly deeply" by Savage Garden. Was no longer about a shallow crush the words applied to how I feel about God. Same as "nothing compares" by Sinead O'Connor I didn't choose that randomly no when I grew wiser and deeper with experience. I found that the greatest love songs could certainly apply, To the embodiment of love. I could truly write you that 25 page topic on that alone. compelling and thought provoking. There are many songs I listen to and I worship God and Idolize Him instead of people artists or otherwise some music is so inspired and glorious that God is the only one worthy to me of that praise. Him and Christ. But I don't force my thoughts If listening with others my mind drifts to Christ. While they may love there sweet heart. if asked for an insight I speak plain some get it others mock. Lacking a relationship I could certainly see their point of view. I wished I had never strayed so far that I lost hope of being in God's grace. But as I learn everyday from this song God has the patience deep love forgiveness and loyalty. I on the journey back can empathize with people who have strayed and lost faith and I can politely have a different view without harsh criticism and Judgement toward the individual. though some days I need correction when I become upset and overzealous. If God has taught me a lesson to apply every day it is introspection and care concern and understanding.. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way and Glory to God in the Highest for whispering wisdom that even trying to be eleoquent I surely butcher His genius. Just discovered this amazing artist!! One of my favorite singers is Adele, but when I heard Lauren, I was so taken by the fact that she has a very similar sultry voice that I admire so much in Adele because it's so different. But the fact that Lauren doesn't just have this great gift, but she uses it to bring glory to God. And she's showing the world how to worship Him, without them even knowing it.
