I’m so emotional watching this video. Idk how old you are, but I’m 27 and I only came out in January so 5 months ago so technically I am a “baby gay” but also not? And I’ve been in denial/oblivious for years and these are basically all questions I ask myself and wish I could ask someone, maybe I’m putting too much pressure on myself but that last one especially, I came out as asexual first and someone was like “maybe you’re not asexual, maybe you’re just gay” and I’m like woah! However, I have been single since January when I split from my boyfriend so it’s annoying I can’t find out the answers I want as soon as possible maybe it’s just me? I don’t know, but this video was very helpful and very emotional for me because I’m the one that’s figured myself out “years and years and years” (how you said it takes people a short amount of time to figure it out vs year and years) however, I have known or had an incline since I was 10 but my lesbian friend was like “no you’re not” and I worshipped the ground she walked on so I believed her and I’d take am I gay quizzes bc I felt something was wrong with me. Idk I’m sorry for the blabbering, but this is technically my first “gay” questions type video I’ve watched because I watch lots of LGBTQIA+ KZbinrs (including mark ferris) however they’re just regular videos and this is my first that’s solely on sexuality so I’m sorry if this comment is a pain, I guess I’m just in shock and feel this video was for me so thank you!

Thank you for this. I'm 18 and just recently realized I'm lesbian thanks to an online roleplay chatbot site (if that isn't the most Gen Z thing, I don't know what is, haha). It's going to be weird returning to university in August where everyone but me knew I was gay (in my defense, I was raised in a conservative, old money household and I have a lot of experience suppressing feelings). But it's also going to be freeing. Almost as weird as the fact I'm going to be a junior as I started college at age 16 and I could date a freshman and still be younger than her.

12:15 a book advice from a fellow lesbian who reads 24/7 - get a kindle (or other type of e-reader)🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 i know alot of people prefer reading on paper because of the smells or the texture or just the whole vibe but having an e-reader as an option is always great (for ex. if you stumble upon a book that you feel like you'd absolutely love but the cover is super obvious).

I would like to thank you. I graduated high school in 1972, and all 2 of my friends knew I liked girls before I did. I know that probably sounds weird but I had no clue sex or even spelling sex did not exist. Once I left home and I was in a relationship but never realized till we met another couple. We'll that was the beginning of the end of that relationship. An apartment fire and love letters her mom found finished it. Anyway I am so happy you are doing this for our future gays. There's a sort of relief in finding what you are, so I think it's not really something you have to accept. I’m just gonna vent here, respond if you want to respond and if your don’t, don’t, but I just really need to get this off my chest and I can’t really tell anyone. So I’ve known I was bi since like 6th grade but I haven’t came out to my family yet because they are kind of homophobic, anyways I’ve had this crush on this straight girl for like 2 years, let’s just call her A, but I’m delulu so I thought she might possibly like me back, throughout this time I’ve had many crushes on other people including someone I’m going to introduce later in the story. So me and my friends were at the girl I had a crush on’s house and we were just sitting there doing nothing so I recommended that we play truth or dare to pass the time. One of my friends, we can call her M even though she’s not really important to the story, looked up a list of truth questions for us to answer, we eventually got to the last question which was, what is your deepest darkest secret, and keep in mind that everyone in the room knew I had a crush on A so I didn’t have to say mine out loud. One of my other friends, we can call her E remember this name if you remember any of them because she is kind of important, got out her phone and texted me because she didn’t want to say hers out loud. Basically she said that she had a crush on someone in the room, we are all girls btw and she had also not come out to me yet. I started begging her to tell me who it was through text but she said that she couldn’t tell me, so I said “me? 👴” as a joke and she responded with “…yeah”. My first thought was that she was joking so I asked if she was joking like 4 times and her response was no every time. We were both on the verge of tears because I didn’t know what to say because I liked her but I didn’t want to be unloyal because I knew I liked A more. But I really wanted to be with her so even though A was literally across the room, I sat next to my other friends and texted her “bro I like you” because I was trying to add a little humor to it, but as I expected she would respond she said that we were just friends so she saw me as a sister. After she said that it’s like my feelings for her had completely disappeared? Idk it’s just like the fact that she never saw me as more than a friend made me want to stop trying. So after that was decided me and E just looked at each other, neither of us had ever been in a relationship so we didn’t really know what to do after that, we turned to our only friend in the room that has been in a relationship and also the only one who’s been in a relationship with a girl, we can call her S but again this isn’t important. We asked how we actually got into a relationship and she just said that you need to just establish that your together. So E looked up on her phone cheesy pick up lines and that’s how she asked me to be her girlfriend and obviously I said yes, I wish I could tell you what the pick up line was but I kind of forgot. So then we didn’t know what to do because again neither of us had ever been in a relationship so we both took out our phones and asked google what couples do because we literally had no idea what to do after, throughout this story we’re going to look up things a lot which I know your just supposed to go with the flow but we literally didn’t know what to do after that. We decided to start by cuddling but we didn’t know how to cuddle either so we looked that up again and spent like an hour actually figuring out how to cuddle and what made both of us comfortable. So at this moment I felt really bad because I had to tell her that she kind of had to be a secret from my family since like I said already, they’re homophobic, so I asked if she was okay with being a secret from my family but she was really understanding and told me that she doesn’t mind and that it’s okay if I never tell my mom at all. So then she picked up her phone and texted and tried to call her parents and siblings, but it was also like 12:00 am so she had to call them a few times before they picked up because they were sleepy. Her brother basically just said that he didn’t care and told her to not f*ucking mess it up, her sister said that she was really happy for her and I said hi to the sister on the phone, she was really nice and supportive, and her mom was to tired and didn’t feel like checking the texts so she just didn’t really say anything until morning but ofc she was also supportive. Around this time is when all my friends went to sleep so me and E just hung out in A’s closet “ironic”, anyway we were just looking up things that couples do and we decided mutually that we were going to both have our first kiss, and I know this is cringey but again we looked it up, so we just leaned in and kissed, we both thought it was nice so we may have kissed like 20 times after that. Then we came across a video on how to French kiss and decided that we were going to try it out so we did and it was really nice and not what I expected it to feel like, i thought there would be a taste but it just made my tongue feel tingly idk. So again we did this like 20 more times. We then came out of the closet “again ironic” and planned on going to sleep so we cuddled up to eachother in A’s bed since they were all sleeping on the couch but when we were about to go to sleep we kissed eachother on the cheeks and then one thing led to another and she pinned me on the bed and started making out with me, we then went back in the closet “I know your getting tired of me saying this but its kind of ironic lol” and we continued to make out. One of the kisses that gave me butterflies was when she got on top of me and pinned me on the floor while making out with me and grabbing my waist, it seriously felt like a movie. Love these vids. I only 11 and I guess found out I was lesbian when I was 9 or 10. I came to my friends and I'm really lucky with my friends and family. It can be hard because I'm not out to everyone. People sometimes ship me with my male friend and I've met some homophobic people but for the most part it's fine. I kinda have a crush on my friend who is moving by the end the year so I don't really know what to, she's bi but I don't if she'd like me, and I probs couldn't do long distance at 11/12.
