I've never been a lipstick person having perpetually dry, chapped lips so I am absolutely thrilled with how many tinted lip balm options are now being offered. The trend over the last 8-10 years has gone from full coverage matte everything to sheer & barely there. I fall somewhere in the middle & love all the new formulas & "natural" looking products( creme, gel, liquid & balm) as my skin has changed & has different needs. It's also nice to see actual neutral eyeshadow palettes (people keep saying they are cool but they're just desaturated/soft) Everything was very orange/red or jewel toned in seasons past.

I’m 58 and my make up is years and years old.. I started watching tutorials, and I have fallen in love with make up again ❤ I threw out all of my old stuff and purchased all of the viral products that we see so often … Make up has come so far as brands are just better and better. It’s hard to find crappy make up it really is. … I also invested in REFR brushes (50% OFF SALE CURRENTLY GOING ON) …. I FEEL LIKE A PRO NOW. I retired at 50 and I realized I stopped wearing make up for a couple of years. Now I do my make up every day and I enjoy doing it. It is the beauty make up artist and influencers here on KZbin that has not only showed me the power of make up, but also showed me how to enjoy it … At our age, my makeup has never looked better 👏👏👏👏👏👏 I’m glad you’re enjoying it too❤

My fave concealer is the ETUDE Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer in the shade Neutral Mint - and yes despite being a grey mint shade it literally matches my pale olive skin almost perfectly 😂 I use it as my only base product! It wouldn’t work for most people, but if anyone reading this is a superrrrr pale olive girly, give it a try!!! 🙌

The fenty stick foundation is my new absolute favorite. It’s the right amount of light coverage that lasts 8 hours for me. It’s just isn’t much stick for $35. I’m over halfway through and had it about 3 weeks.

Have you seen how the packaging of their foundation stick allows you to use up all the product, including what’s down in the base? Usually a good amount of product is unusable in a stick once you can no longer roll it up, but Fenty designed their stick differently

Would love to see your highlighter collection, swatches and thoughts on them. I don't know if it's because I haven't purchased new highlighters in so many years, but suddenly... I just really want new highlighters? It's not like I even have much of a dent in the few I have because you need so little, but it's just been so long since I've tried anything. Violet Voss is a very underrated brand. I have a few of their palettes and they preform just as well as more expensive ones. I wish they had better marketing. More people need to know about them. Especially with inflation and more people wanting affordable makeup.

Lauren, you should try MAC's studio fix concealer/foundation pen. It has a stunning, natural, flawless finish to it and I can cover my whole face with one pump or do a half pump and just do spot concealing. I have combo/oily skin. Highly recommend!

Don't waste your time returning the extra Tom Ford highlighter, I received additional items in a clothing order recently, thought I was being honest brought them back in store. The Sales assistant behaved in such an annoyed way, almost rude. When I commented to the manager, she told me I shouldn't have bothered, if they sent it, it's yours.

I'm so happy you got the Rose Inc. Serum tint! I love that stuff for when I don't want to wear typical foundation. It's so awesome! Also the Rose Inc. My Danessa Myricks V palette arrived the other day. I wore my Xenon palette yesterday for a daytime look. The pale pink shade shows up very pale pink/ lilac on me. The colors looked great on my fair/ light skin. For reference I wear NARS Light Reflecting in shade L2 Mont Blanc. I went to an event later that evening. I added a few of DM V shades onto my eyes to complement the shades I was wearing from the Xenon palette.

Dude, my order was messed up too!!! 1. Sent me a Clarins serum instead of my Kate Somerville face wash. 2. I ordered the Killian travel set...pretty sure it was used, 2 were bone dry and 2 more were like half used. Didn't look like a leak either. Oops. If things like that happen to you, I suggest calling, they will usually say keep the products and replace what's missing. They can't reuse them or put them back on the shelf. Worked in my favor because that Killian set was not cheap and now I have like one and a half sets (hope I like the remaining scents), and a bonkers expensive serum. But yeah, hope they're doing ok! I know staffing is a STRUGGLE in every industry and I'm sure it's bananas during the sales.

I loved the Fenty with one layer and thought it was blurrung , also like with it built up but just saying you look beautiful either ways . I would appreciate any concealer recommendations for 50+ mature under eyes , all natural face so its visibly lived a life not that there is anything wrong with enhancements , I think I would if I could . I love the huda beauty concealer and the Lancôme. The rose inc is okay I love the color but it’s kind of drying over time. I just picked up tower 28 so I’m excited to try that. Also I love the rose inc serum foundation is so beautiful and makes your skin look beautiful. If you want more cover use a brush :) it’s probably my favorite skin tint
