forrealllll. the palette was uninspired, recycled, boring and overpriced. kinda fits with sims 4 tho 🫣 i feel like every single sims fan could do better. a plumbob light green, sims 2 loading screen blue, a dark brown for olive specter, a purple for don lothario, a red for bellas iconic dress, two similar pink shades with different shimmer colors as dina and nina, a whitish yellow for agnes crumplebottom, like why 🫠

I see what Mac was going for, obviously they were referencing how the Sims devs do the bare minimum for their releases. Seems only fitting that Mac would also do the bare minimum. In all seriousness, Mac flopped HARD with this and while the actual makeup options made by the Sims devs are so ugly and basically unusable, at least they put in the effort to do something new and exciting, something that references Mac’s history and is relevant to their brand. Mac could’ve done nothing and it would’ve been better than that crusty ass palette.

I missed out on the elf x Chipotle collab but I did buy it from a reseller. I love the palette. The shadows are beautiful. The makeup sponge is decorative for me. I prefer the traditional makeup sponge shape. I didn't try the lip gloss yet. The makeup bag is awesome! I actually thought about decluttering all of my other makeup bags and only keeping this one. It's so stinking cute. Not a collab but I heard that Chipotle came out with a cilantro scented soap (since cilantro tastes like soap for some people). Genius!

I have sensory issues and condiments specifically just make my skin crawl. I have intense anxiety about getting them on me, having to touch them. Ketchup is the worst one for me so the Fenty Ketchup collab is truly my worst nightmare! I hadn't known that they were mystery packs and you either got lipgloss or ketchup...that just adds to the horror!!! I do find Mschf (spelling?) pretty cool in general though. I watch Emily D. Baker and she was covering a couple of cases that involve them that were very entertaining. But the Fenty collab....will continue to haunt me...

the chipotle collab is silly, but i gotta say it seems like one of the few food collabs that have actually been good. the pallet had cohesive colors and it wasn’t trying too hard to do something “weird” like a lot of other brands do with food collabs- for example… winky luxs sauce glosses 😂

The makeup community did the fenty x mschf collab SO DIRTY and idk if i will ever recover from it. Mschf makes art. They do fun and silly art collabs. The fenty collab was never meant to be actually used. Its art. U put it up on your wall to show everyone u like art and makeup. And it was like every single beauty guru didnt understand this and was mad that they got all ketchup or only 1 lipgloss packet. Like girls!!! Its not actually meant to be used!!!! Its fucking art! Would u buy a brillo box from andy warhol and then get mad when there aren't brillo pads in the box?? Maybe it was supposed to be a commentary on the overconsumption of makeup lovers? But idk it was like the joke went so far over the community's heads that it became a flop. If i was lucky enough to get a hold of that collab i would have it on my wall and demand to be burried with it.

Okay- I got the elf x chipotle shadows and it was so much better than I ever thought it would be! The fajitas shade and the green salsa shade were really unique with like a duo chrome look!! And it was so smooth!

I agree that the LG palette is a gorgeous neutral story! But i think they missed the opportunity to memorialize Vanna's incredible dresses and classic 80s beauty, it is the only aspect of the show, other than the set color story, that has any actual connection to beauty & style. It's a tough one for me, im so happy that vanna did not get put out to pasture as she aged, but using women as decorative elements when the host/men's role is presented as powerful professionals is very uncool & really harms society.

I will say as a black person who bought and reviewed everything but the brushes from the coach collection all of the products worked and are the best powder formulas I own. 26:04 I also bought the Velveeta collab and while it does stink the colors are amazing 🤩

she hulk first came about in the comics during the 80s when it was all colors and crazy animation… so that toned down palette is a super letdown. they could have had a lot of fun with it

Her name sell’s me just about anything ( I haven’t tried or bought the Wheel of Fortune) I am a bit disappointed I think it looks less than her normal quality packaging.
