I have a correction to make…. The baby bottle of BR540 is actually an OIL!!! lol I was so excited that I didn’t realize it’s not the perfume!! I’m kinda bummed because obviously I was super excited (I mean at least I got my non shimmer oil) but it does bring the value of the overall box down! I don’t see it for sale individually in that size but the 2.4 oz is $105 and a set that includes that size would make it about $100, bringing the total value to $1,174! lol so disregard all the stuff that hinges on that oil being a perfume and sorry for the mistake! 🩷😊

I love the between Christmas and New Years calendar idea. Especially for gifting (not at $1000) but how fun that your recepient gets to open the whole thing on Christmas and then a little box a day for an additional week when you can sometimes get the post holoday blues.

I agree with buying direct - byredo for example the experience was 10/10 got a free candle and samples and a really nice box , and Clarins also I got a makeup bag full of 6 minis of my choice with my face cream - worth more than any saving I could have made elsewhere

I am so glad I watched your review last year as it prompted me to purchase this year's. It's important to note before Francis Kurkdjian opened his Maison aka house, he was the nose behind MANY other amazing perfumes, i.e. Dior. Absolutely LOVE his fragrances. Purchased Aqua Universalis Forte, Oud Satin Mood, and Oud Silk Mood. His freshies (green, blue, and yellow bottles) are divine (similar to Aqua Universalis). Grand Soir brings to mind "old money" scent (classic), as are Gentle Fluidity Gold and Silver. He never disappoints, imo☺️

I've sampled a ( baccarat rouge ) perfume & I liked it & then I recently bought a dupe of it because I can't afford the real BR right now , and guess what ....!!!! I bought the wrong one 😢 I actually sampled the extrait version (the red bottle) and what I've bought is the OG one !!!! I like it (BR) 45% because I smell burnt sugar & pine disinfectant!! But somehow I like it 😂 I keep imagining eating caramel dessert near a Christmas tree, but I've never smelled a Christmas tree 🎄 😂

The Baccarat costs more than the others because of the Ambergris, which is a waxy substance that comes from the digestive system of sperm whales. It's very valuable which is why anything made with it is more expensive

I’m not into candles (fear of fire) so that brings down the value to me. I like everything else but I probably wouldn’t get the advent calendar. If I really want to treat myself I might go ahead and fill in the voids in my BR 540 collection. I already have the regular sized BR 540 and the extrait. Hair mist, hand & body cleansing gel, soap, body oil. They don’t have a body lotion. :-( Maybe also add the fragrance wardrobe to experience the other scents. I would be very happy with all of that.
