I tried the water to ice method, didn't seem to work, the shoes seemed to have shrunk. The socks and blow dryer worked like a charm though, but that was some torture wearing 2 pairs of socks 😅

I've never thought to stretch shoes. That might be handy for pointy shoes which I never buy because I've never warn a pair that didn't kill my feet in the toe area. My feet just don't work with those type of shoes. Maybe stretching?
@mirandaosmelak4805 жыл бұрын
The reason why your second trick does not work that well is because you have to wait until shoes cool down so they do not strech back:) PS. I don't have any shoes to stretch, I know the tricks already, I am watching just because I like your energy:D take it as a highest compliment:)

I have jimmy choo peep toe shoes and I have wide feet, so it's a little snug in the width, but perfect at the length. I have a spray that I'm going to try first. If it still doesn't work then, I'll take mine to the cobbler. My mom did the fold over bag as well. I guess the ziploc was too expensive.

You can buy professional shoe stretching spray to use with the shoe stretcher.

When you put the shoes in the freezer, do you put them in a plastic bag as well? I have a pair of flats that are brand new and hard leather.

Try getting shoes wet and then wearing them... I get a spray bottle and fill it with just water to start... Wear them around the house or in the yard... If that is not quite enough, mix the water with plain alcohol in a 50/50 solution. If you can get a pair or thick socks on with the tight shoes/boots, all the better. It wont happen in ten minutes or even an hour. It takes time and lots of spray applications. But, in time, leather should conform to your foot like it is your own skin.

There’s a leather spray you can use with the crank tool that makes it loosen the leather. But you can only loosen the leather so much. If the shoe is too small, well it’s too small. Plus I don’t think you can stretch faux leather the same as real leather-I don’t waste money on faux though.

please do not ice stretch your shoes..water expands when frozen and leather does harden and loose its elasticity when frozen . You compromising all the joints of the shoe. The shoe will not last long.
