ohmygawwd!! you hit it on the head with that statement, Lauren. SEWING IS THERAPUTIC! it has been my savior for 3 years now. getting into sewing was like visiting a long lost boyfriend you only delt with once but, wanted to get back with again. you always kept him in the back of your mind, and vowed one day you will meet again. that is how it was with me with this. AND I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!! And you gave me a wonderful gift: THE VICTORIA POUCH PATTERN! I LOVE THAT PATTERN!! i made so many pouches, wristlets, tote bags using that pattern! it's so freakin cute!

Gr8 video Lauren. Being a mum is a full time job (as you already know). So to run a business, purchasing a building for said business and be a KZbin inspirational sewer and artist to boot! You have many turning plates and your doing an amazing job at keeping them all going. Lisa from England. PS your videos are the best.

I've used the HD9 for over a year and am in love with it. The teflon foot will glide easily over vinyl and you can get a thin set of three on Amazon (not Janome) that give more room under the presser foot. Janome's teflon foot is thick and there have been many complaints about it. I use tex69 or 70 exclusive and like it for all my vinyl and canvas work. The machine has been trouble free. There is a learning curve and getting all the tensions correct may require some fiddling but worth the effort.

I use vintage Singers for making bags. They will sew through anything, but my 301 just does not have much foot clearance. I have been considering the HD9 and giving my 1980's Bernina to my granddaughter.

@@annguglielmino8989Hi, If u want high clearance Do Not get the HD9 please...u will regret it. Unless u just do cotton & canvas, but if u work with faux/vinyl or real leather than u are better off with an industrial. Trust me, I learned lesson the hard way. The HD9 is a fantastic machine n the stitches are beautiful n it is a strong machine but the presser foot does Not go up high enough when doing the connectors on a bag. I had to buy the Juki 1541s bc it has a high clearance n I love it

Lauren. Love the sews, love your bags, love you. Girl, you're way to hard on yourself. All that #$%^ about "it probably won't turn out" and "I'd just mess it up anyway" are crap. You are amazing, we all know that or we wouldn't be here!

If you were going to buy your first heat press, how would you go about it? What size is the pressing area on yours? I'm glad you decided to attach the straps this way, the first idea would have been too weak, especially since this bag will hold A LOT of stuff. Good job, Lauren!! I love the green and black. I wish I had been watching this LIVE. I was talking to you, but you couldn't hear me....LOL I had no idea where you were going when you began the keychain...it's cute! And for a "patch" for merch, how about your "Let's Just Sew Whatever"? I enjoy sewing patches on. I like the white also!! I was thinking it, just before you said it!! I needed to sleep too, but I couldn't go without watching you finish this Emily tote. :-)

If you make more machine magnets will you please make a magnet out of the sewing machine as the black cat? It’s honestly like my favorite piece of art!! I already have the pin and stickers and I need the print but I always end up buying other items and I don’t want it to get crinkled lol🤷♀️🤦♀️

Thank you so much for all your videos, I have them on 24/7 as my materials make it to my home but by bit😂😂😂. Lauren I have spent over a month watching all your tutorials over and over so that when I have all the stuff you recommended I can start making Christmas presents. However I have a question, I know you stated that your dad made you your cutting table with ikea drawers and a large piece of wood ,my question is where did you get the big measuring part that is on your table. I would really love to get one so my husband can put it together for me. If it’s not to much trouble. Thank you so much for all you do.
