Won't be long for this brand to have it's time in the sun again. It's the age of Independents. There's only a hand full of independent brands with the heritage that this brand has. There's not too many brands left for the secondary market makers to corner and jack the prices. I think there's a perfect storm coming for brand like Ferrier and grossman

It doesn’t have a lot of heritage actually. It was founded in 2009. Still a cool brand though.

Pretty much a perfect watch. You could just own this and wear it every day if you wished, without looking out of place, but you could also take it to events and look formal too.

One of my favorite case shapes made, refined, beautiful and compliments the view of the movement so well. But it seems like it would be so hard to read the time on all the Galet models with those tiny hands on the shiny, light colored dials they always seem to use.

LF straps have that small cutout for the springbar tool on the back of all their straps. It's showing on the front at 0:36 only because the strap is pulled straight down, so the back of the strap is facing front. You can see the same cutout at 1:23 on the longer strap.

Plus, he said Alcantara. I wonder if he meant ultrasuede. Alcantara is fine for infrequently touched surfaces but it’s terrible for frequently touched surfaces, as a primary upholstery, etc.

I think the informality is nice, it makes this watch wearable everyday if you like. But I do agree that it needs a more formal strap as well.
