I really do like how Albir doesn't involve himself in the war - he respects the roots and does awesome fusion. Really both worlds only benefit from each other - now urbankiz attracts more people to kizomba world because of the flashy moves! Still it's very helpful to know the kizomba roots (which I'm learning now) before you do the fusion. Great video by two of the best guys in urbankiz (kizomba fusion) world!

I respect Dance is art Innovation and creativity is part of an art Urban Kiz is such innovative and creative dance style fusion of two style, kizomba and hip hop dance. But Kizomba is kizomba and UrbanKiz is UrbanKiz, it's not Kizomba, gotta understand that. I am Angolan if you really want to be respectful go deep and understand the cultural aspects involved in Kizomba. Not to discredit UrbanKiz

Just to Mention that Kizomba evolved from Semba. Semba From Massemba or Rebita. Tarraxinha evolved from Kizomba. We see here Evolution so it's normal to have another evolving style which is UrbanKiz. But please, respect and always properly credit the roots of it. Love and peace 🇦🇴

if the dance continues to evolve with no governing body then there will be a problem....it will lost its authenticity and that is just how it is. Evolution is great but it eradicates authenticity. That is what Victor was fearful of in the movie Underworld....

Je comprends pas pourquoi il y a autant de prise de tête sur "ce qu'est vraiment la kizomba" ou "qui a telle conception" ou encore "l'un est urban kiz, l'autre est traditionnel"... L'important reste de danser et d'aimer ce qu'on fait, pas de se prendre la tête sur des formalités.

Je suis entièrement d'accord, mais quand tu enseigne tu as une certaine responsabilité. Tes élèves qui n'ont pas la connaissance considère que ce que tu leur dit est vrai ... sauf que si ce que tu leur dit est une déformation de la vérité alors les problèmes (justifiés) commencent ... l'interêt de cette vidéo est juste de réaliser ce fait et de faire attention quand on enseigne ;)
