I know i haven't but i would like to go to Colonial Williamsburg one day browse in the shops and have something to eat with a drink as well as to buy a couple of bits and bobs from out of the shops, even take the camera as well as to see George Washington & Thomas Jefferson there plus the ghost tours when it's evening time. I've also seen a video where you were at Colonial Williamsburg what you put on since the beginning of this year i think round january was when you put it on

Williamsburg is always a favorite! The gold standard for Colonial decorating around here, especially at Christmas. We visited when our oldest daughter was a toddler and bought her one of those white caps and took pictures of her, including at the Wythe house. So pretty! Lovely in the spring also! .

I used to do ghost tours in CW and I also have a few photos of figures in the windows of the Peyton Randolph house.

I LOVE Colonial Williamsburg. Had such a good time there learning all the history. Might do it again soon! I think you should consider being a tour guide at the Virginia State Capitol. I’ve always enjoyed those tours too - you just learn so much…AND it’s an active historical place! Or be a guide a St John’s Church…oh, what about Old City Hall?! Anyway, just some thoughts. Have you been to the Citi of Henricus? Way smaller than Williamsburg, but they have period characters there too. I think there’s even period characters at Jamestown. Very cool video - I really liked it. Really loving the series - I keep coming back for more! So, keep bringing it on! 😊

Vlogtober Day 21 . It's getting spooky 👻👻👻 Williamsburg has always been a favorite of ours. The George Wythe House and the story that surrounds his life has always fascinated us. We've not done the ghost tour yet in Williamsburg but plan to. One of the things we do in Williamsburg is attend is the Winter blue Jazz Fest that happens in January. It's a great event for the town. Check the dates for January 2025. As always, Lauren, It was a wonderful vlog . You are tireless and charming. All the best .💚💚 Dear Friends Jim and Harriet

As creepy as Richmond can be, it surprises me that there isn’t a really good ghost tour in town. Maybe there is and it just hasn’t been discovered yet…or maybe you all should start one!! Yes!! Just wait until the zombie walk that takes place in Richmond each year around Halloween! Never been but seems really creepy. People are in total character…or so I’ve been told!

Jamestown is also a must see locations. Jamestown’s history as the first English settlement and its Native American history are amazing to see in person. Jamestown has a ferry you can drive your car on to head back to Richmond from Williamsburg/Jamestown! A much nicer drive home than I-64! Just an FYI from a native fellow Richmonder!

I really... and I mean really dislike CW during the summertime. The Fall and Winter is the best time to visit and immerse as a local. Having had friends who worked for the foundation and lived on Duke of Gloucester (Some positions come with residence) and giving me a chance to see the inner workings was special. They all have to have period furniture on their first floors and try to avoid being out of costume during certain hours on their first floor as well. It is just about the best place in the US to be a historian who wants to do living history and research at the same time. Glad you got to experience it. I know your favorite color is green (does she ever change those finger nails?) and CW is loaded with green, so I know you got all kinds of decoration ideas for your Fan House now :)
