only shake trees from the front! when a wasp falls out, the character automatically is pointed towards the wasp. Also if you hold a net and shake the tree from the front, all you have to do is press A to catch the wasp because you are automatically positioned to catch it. And there's no risk of accidentally shaking the tree like you did and getting stung!

Okay. If you catch the wasps when they fall out of the tree, you can both donate to the museum (if you haven't already) and you can sell them. You also wouldn't waste party poppers. In case you didn't know how to catch them: Always hold a net while you are shaking trees. If the wasp nest falls, run far enough where you can turn around, then wave your net at the swarm. You will catch one wasp while the rest of them disperse. I know this video is old and you probably won't see my advice, but this has kept me from getting stung ever since I played Animal Crossing New Leaf, and it gives me extra money, so I hope you see it and it helps you.

I got the island before but only once that was the only time I got it before. Edit: Also your native fruit will show up on a island that you go to and coconuts if you have a normal island. Lauren here is a tip I got from a friend I think you might find useful: On clear nights you can sometimes see shooting stars in the sky you can press A to wish upon them, the next day you will find some star fragments on your island ground but you might have to search for them a bit.

You have a secondary fruit that is more common on fruit islands your secondary fruit might be cherries also that was a common island and the bluegill isn’t a rare fish. Instead of a party popper have a net out when you shake trees and you can catch wasps and make money. If you leave stuff on the ground on your island it will not despawn so you can keep track of the trees you shook.
