In memoriam for those who lost their lives in this tragic week in Charleston.. here from the 1997 Clinton Inaugural an excerpt of the late great Laurie Beechman performing with 100 person gospel choir, made up of members of houses of worship that were burned by arsonists, "You'll Never Walk Alone" .

Anything she did was spectacular. To know she had her walk ongoing while she did this song as well as her last album makes me wonder at her heart and her capacity to make dreams happen.
