@@TheSentinel091482 it was one classic album but I agree with Lauren cause said explained that the reason she didn't want to put out another album was cause she was lacking the experience. The experience in her life was what made her previous album a classic and without the experience that brings wisdom the material would be sub par. Big ups for her to explain and share her reasons for not making more music

The entire album was good through and through. Each and every song. She gave a little bit of everything. She really did her thing on To Zion. The way she was singing that one put a tears in my eyes. She was good on every spectrum. She dropped science on the rapper end and then sang her ass off on the singer end. And she was beautiful. One of the best albums of the 90's.

Who can make a diss track that got this much radio play? Lauryn Hill. Who can make an album that’ll be in the Top 50 Hip Hop records of all time, right after a nasty breakup with her old band? Lauryn Hill. I was just entering middle school when this album came out and I wish I would have been a little older to fully appreciate it. This woman is straight fire on a mic. Miss Lauryn, may life continue to bring you happiness and good health. Your contribution to humanity will be felt for a VERY long time.

Plus someone was asking me what type of music I like earlier. I always say everything I guess cause I don't listen to CDs a lot so I don't hear enough of one artist. Though I do remember listening to the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album and it was good

Wow, I almost got tears of nostalgia at 0:51 when she walks along central Park and the skater boys behind her are riding off doing tricks. When this album came out I was a little kid skateboarding at exactly the same spot (and elsewhere in and around the park).that was a whole different era and vibe and it's completely gone. From the "cool 90s skater boy" scene to this very type of music and vibe from Lauryn hill, and how those two things used to blend together back then....all gone.😢

***** That was the media trying to make her seem that way in order to fight back against her calls for justice and her calling out the music industry. Manipulation is everywhere and it's so pathetic.

I bet no one seriously was comparing Lauren and Nicki to each other,Lauren is a Legend and up to this day no female Hip--hop artist is on her level,if someone was comparing them to each other it was clearly that whoever was doing so was trying to start some drama,to get people to hate on Nicki and to put her down, even Nicki Minaj look up to Lauren and show her mad respect and which serious hip-hop head are a regular Joe dosn't.

"the miseducation..." was definitely one of the top 5 albums of the 90s, of any genre. amazing production, deep lyrics, and her singing voice always on point. say what you will about her personally since this album came out... everything came together perfectly to create it and you can't take that away. she may be eccentric or crazy now, but this album was simply mind-blowing. in no way can you compare nicki manaj to lauryn. c'mon, that's like comparing a little leaguer to a pro, skills wise.

"And if you don't change, and the rain soon comes. You might win some, but you lost one." I've been having a shitty day (Girl wize) today, and I was listening to this song on the way home. And it totally spoke to me. I love Lauryn.

I'm glad that this woman gets this kind of recognition, she clearly deserves it wiv her talented self and the message that she's trying to spread, they don't make it like her no more ! Nicki take some notes, that fake shiit will only last for so long!

Lauren spat that honesty, truth, and reality that is STILL relevant to this day, unlike most of these so called emcee's, and rappers. Please. Real emcee's, and rappers from 80's, and 90's need to come back harder, and more than ever, and sit/shut this generation down.
