This is the most clear and light hearted she's been in a while. Don't get me wrong I like it when she's deep too but it's nice to see her like this too

She is just full of truth and realness. I don't understand what people don't get. ITs a big world and I think people are here for different purposes. She has been anointed and appointed to bring and stand for truth. There is a time and place for everything God has created. I have room for the truth, i.e. lauryn hill and also commercialized music and artists. Its all good, both have a room on this earth to be expressed and accepted. I don't know what is so hard to understand about that. I think that brilliant people spend a lot of time in their head because their gifts come from the most high and are therefore spiritual. There is a thin line between brilliance and entering the spiritual world which when expressed in the world seems crazy and out there. I think that's why lauryn hill is so misunderstood. The spiritual world is very different and thinks different and has different needs than the material world. That's why trying to bring it to the world makes it difficult for people to accept and understand, it is not worldly. I totally get her though, I don't think she's as cryptic as people have made it seem, I understand the gist of what she's trying to say perfectly.

I was hoping Ms Hill would speak more when she came to DC. But hearing her sing Gaurding the gates live was such a blessing! Thanks for uploading this

I always feel JEALOUS for Lauryn. Nobody knows Ms. Lauryn Hill like I do. I have been there since 'Blunted on Reality'. There aren't any people/artists/politicians/friends I've advocated for like I've advocated for Lauryn... well, except for God. I prayed & still do pray for this woman. I was at the Bowery Ballroom on 11/27/13 and I went into worship mode on Final Hour. I raised my hands, I sang every lyric & run... I was in the band. I filled in harmonized tenor parts. It's been 16 years in the making to make it to a show. I know I could spit a 'Consumerism' type rhyme after that. I always said, there isn't anyone who could summon me to an appointment that I know I'd be at unless it was Lauryn & the law, of course. Nevertheless, I love Ms. Lauryn Hill always have, always will. I got Ms. Hill from the start & I can't wait to support her, the music and all future projects and endeavors. Peace & Respect Ms. Hill for Guarding the Gates. We are Conformed to Love. #MLHstreetteam

This is so beautiful. I totally agree with you. I totally get it, get her. She is highly anointed and appointed. Her message reaches people when they are rightly appointed to receive it. If you are already there, its incredible to receive so much from God in form of her artistry. God is love, just pure love. I am definitely conformed to Love and not confined to anyone's box. Thanks for your message.

Thank you for your words. Ms. Lauryn Hill needs her proper light while she's here on earth. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who understands & appreciates the depth Ms. Hill has represented her entire career. Kudos to you nntukogu1. God IS love.
