Thank you, Roman. It must make you a little bit sad, even though it's a part of being Icelandic, to accept the volcanoes as part of your heritage just as the Blue Lagoon is. Sending you love.

Volcanoes are what formed Iceland, so on the positive side one hopes more land is created without disturbing the natives.
@_mortiam4 күн бұрын
What do you mean? Natives have already been disturbed numerous times. And more land is really only created when lava reaches the ocean, which I doubt is gonna happen.

Hi Roman. Well, The Lava flow is breathing down the neck of the Blue Lagoon. We really hope the Lava dikes holds it back, or else Iceland is going to loose its cash cow, she's gonna get roasted and toasted !!! Blue Lagoon has been very lucky, but I think, maybe at some point, that good luck is going to run out !! Lava that scary close to the entry points is not good at all. Be safe Roman, everybody be safe !!

They saved the main Blue Lagoon by their lava berm, so they were ready for this. They must have decided that the car park was too difficult to protect.

Why didn't they build the berms around the carpark and luggage building along with the Blue Lagoon. I thought everything was inside the berms so nothing got destroyed by lava.
