i first baught lava lamps in 97 and the flow was continuous. returned new ones i bought thinking a flow problem, wrong the flow now is much slower, nothing compared if you ever seen an older make

Did you add any additional supplemental lighting to get this effect on video? I have this exact lamp and it doesn't look like this. My liquid is murky green with the 100W bulb alone. I bought 2 new official Lava Lamp 100W bulbs, no improvement. Still not bright like yours. Hard to differentiate the wax from the liquid in the top half of the lamp. Both look dim murky green. I can back-light the lamp to get this clear bright blue effect, but still the yellow wax is not this bright. What was you technique to get this beautiful outcome?? Backlight to light up the blue liquid and front light to light up the yellow wax??? I have 3 other smaller Lava Lamps. Those are all bright. Not this Grande. The 100W lamp puts out enough heat as the wax moves well, but the lumen output is horrible. No other alternative better bulbs available that I can find. This is a highly specific bulb. There are a couple others like this on the market, but reports are they are even worse.

Depends how cold your room is to heat up and flow....ITS NOT POSSIBLE ITS BROKEN.THERE NOTHING TO GO WRONG...JUST TAKES HEAT FROM THE BULB..FROM NEW MAYBE 6 HOURS...
