Thanks for the review. I've been playing guitar and singing for a long time and I'm glad to hear someone just say what I think most musicians would say about this: "It's a lot of fun". It's not meant to be replacing a guitar or band, or turn you into Ed Sheeran. It's to have fun making music no matter what your musical background is. In my case, arthritis is making it harder for me to play acoustic chords cleanly, particularly if I want to arpeggiate them. This would allow me to do that. BTW, I'd like to find out more about how the 5 touchpads can work in Creative mode if you've checked that out. Thanks again.

That is a perfect assessment! Yea, I like to keep it real, and that's how I felt about it. But you're absolutely right. The way the touchpads work in creative mode is, once in creative, you will used them to create your own patterns, strums and chord chart (mapping to the fingerboard). They each have a function in doing so. Pretty sure on the kickstarter / their site, you can see what I'm talking about. Thank you so much for watching, and for your feedback!

Looks like fun to explore but before I buy I'll need more precise information about the batteries and power options. I imagine the batteries are rechargeable but even they need to be replaced eventually. are they readily available or are they proprietary? What type?

Those are great questions! I would assume they use something standard, like an 18650 or 21700 lithium battery, but they don't have any information on the site for that, and I haven't gotten a response yet. You might reach out to them on the site and social media and see what they say. I can tell you that if they used an 18650 or 21700 lithium, it should be easy enough to replace, and I've got batteries such as those that have been charged and used for at least 3 years and still kickin just fine. Shouldn't be a big problem, but yea...you might want to find that out of you're concerned. Thank you so much for watching!

It seems like there is a niche audience for this. I haven't been to the website to know what the pricing is, which can make a difference when someone is on the fence. The one thing from this video I was a little surprised at is they made the case for this instrument white. It seems someone will be doing a lot of repeat cleaning.

Really curious about the 3 creative pads underneath which you didn’t demonstrate at all. Only 2 pads on top and you described the hell out of those but nothing about the 3 pads under except to say they work in creative mode. Doing what? I’m very curious.

That’s a bit more in depth and the video was already looong. I’ve only dipped my toes on on that, but basically they function as pads to program your own chord progression on the neck, patterns, and creating a “song” that can be uploaded with the colored blocks for others to enjoy. Like I said, that could be another 15 to 20 minute video. I’m just that alone. And it’s really not something that I use. But, who knows, in the future I might. Hope that sheds a little bit more light on it for you.
