"My ele is officially higher mmr than my mage" That was me in S2 playing demo lock for the first time ever, got higher CR than my mage with 1/4th of the games. And I've been playing mage exclusively since TBC...it's just insane how weak the class is without a rogue on your team 24/7.

Yeah, you're pretty much forced to q with a rogue or you're a low tier partner for most other classes. Most classes would be way better off having any other class as their partner in 3s. Honestly RMP playstyle is really fun, playing around setups, having clean gos. It's a very satisfying playstyle, but when you're forced to only be able to play that way AND to top it off, fire mage playstyle being the same for years and years, it can tend to get pretty old. I miss being able to play with other classes like feral druids and shadow priests. I'm hoping with the redesign of mage in Dragonflight, we'll be able to open up more comp options and alternative playstyles. I'd be willing to respec to frost or arcane full time even at this point. Just super bored of fire man.. Just the same shit over and over.. If it wasn't for me picking up ele recently, I wouldn't be surprised if I got burnt out from this game and took another break again. Glad I found my new passion class.

primordial wave makes your next lava burst hit every target that has flame shock dot on it already ya. so you combo primordial wave with echoing shock to make the AoE lava bursts shoot twice + skyfury before you send it for 20% extra damage since LvB is guaranteed crit on targets with flame shock. then because I'm playing mastery build, the lava bursts have a high chance to overload as well and duplicate even more. I'm not sure if echoing lava bursts can also be overloaded, but I'm pretty sure they can? so it's tons of modifiers on top of each other for the biggest mostest

How do you feel about elemental shaman losing Echoing shock in dragon flight? The talent tree looks phenomenal, both class and spec, but loss of echoing seems rough. Great vid man!

i think ele is gaining so much back to its tool kit that the loss of echoing shock won't be that big of a deal. it might have a bit less of 100-0 potential, but honestly having to use 3 whole globals to do my burst (prim wave -> echo -> skyfury) feels slightly clunky anyways so it might promote an overall more fluid playstyle not having echoing shock.

i just run this macro for my meteor #showtooltip earth shock /startattack /cast meteor /cast earth shock also i've been running lasso as lsx into rmp, jungle, and other eles so far. skyfury otherwise. maybe i start playing lasso more vs comps we lose to and feel like we lack peels into.

Well I started in late WotLK and didn't really start PvPing semi seriously till late Cata so personally my favorite is MoP as well. Believe it or not but MoP is one commonly regarded as one of the best PvP xpacs. People generally usually say WotLK or MoP. I loved Wrath as a noob when it comes to the leveling experience, and just the overall magical vibes, and I'm sure it would be ranked higher on my list if I was semi decent at the game at the time and had more arena exp. Most arena players will say their favorite xpac is the one they first got "good" on.

@@hansolzy I noticed his damaged was 2/3 times higher but your burst windows is what won the games. Is that the combo that’s works best with ele? I’ve noticed with both my afflic and ele sham need a fire (good) support role for either to benefit me any in higher ratings

@@Ben10lawl yeah a lot of aff damage is pad (fake dmg). aff damage can definitely be impactful when he uses soul rot / ds but a lot of their damage outside of that isn’t super meaningful compared to some classes. keep in mind aff damage is usually always double everyone elses. even in the games the aff loses. ele and aff pair really well because the aff pretty much butters them up and the ele chunks them with deadly lava bursts. plus the UAs help flame shocks stick on targets more consistently especially in dampening which helps the ele min max damage way more than the ele could playing with another dps class. the specs go really great together and it’s easily ele’s best comp right now.
