The song is autobiographical, it recounts the days following her father's death, the journalists digging into her family's life and the people she didn't even know who were suddenly in her house, hugging her mother and touching her as if they knew her . And she talks about the anger and pain at the sudden farewell of her father, which however she has learned to accept and forgive. When her father died she and her family found themselves surrounded by journalists, curious strangers and relatives and “friends” who appeared from who knows where in search of who knows what (like vampires), for this reason they moved to northern Italy and Angelina, who was traumatized by her father's death, missed a year of school.

Infatti il testo fa venire i brividi alla schiena, il fatto che sia autobiografico si sente in ogni singola parola... Forse anche nei respiri. Io sono cresciuta con la musica del padre e benché molto differente riconosco nella figlia un grande talento, è davvero brava e le auguro il meglio, spero che l'attuale successo sia sempre maggiore perché è totalmente meritato.

Ciao ... Questa canzone praticamente sta raccontando del funerale di suo padre ( Pino Mango ) morto quando lei aveva 12 anni ... Una parte del testo dice che la gente frugava nella loro spazzatura probabilmente in cerca di qualche cosa che fosse appartenuta a suo padre e lei dice che ci trovavano solo 400 mozziconi di sigaretta degli ospiti venuti ad abbracciare sua mamma e che lei non conosce nessuno ma sorride e chiede se vogliono un bicchiere d'acqua ( a 12 anni era costretta nonostante la sua perdita a fare la padrona di casa ) e poi dice che le vecchiette in fila indiana ( probabilmente in chiesa ) le stringevano forte le guance tra le dita ( come si fa con i bambini ) e che lei si sentiva soffocare e voleva solo scappare da lì ... Questo a grandi linee è il significato del testo .
