Fantasy Worlds, I've said it before and I'll say it again and I'm glad so many people are finally admitting that it does makes sense and is the overall truth. People who claim that Ghost-types are actual real true ghosts are ignorant about Ghost-type Pokemon and believe ridiculous myths about that. They think Ghost-type Pokemon are actual real true ghosts, ghosts from dead Pokemon (ghost from dead Pokemon wouldn't magically switch species upon death, a Pikachu wouldn't become a Haunter or a Banette, it would be a ghostly Pikachu just like Cubone became a ghostly Cubone in Lavender Town after she was killed by Team Rocket, so Ghost-TYPE Pokemon can't be ghosts of deceased Pokemon as Pokemon keep their original form/species after death), when in fact nothing could be further from the truth, they are not actual ghosts, they are just Pokemon with GHOST-LIKE abilities which is why they've been classified as Ghost-TYPE, but they are very much among the living. They can drink Moo Moo milk, berry juice and potions. They can eat poffins or malasadas. They can breed and reproduce, lay eggs and have offsprings. Only beings who are among the living can drink, eat, and reproduce, especially the reproduction part. If they were actual real true ghosts, they would not be able to reproduce, just like the Legendaries and Mythicals who are sterile and will not lay eggs (thought most Mythicals and Legendaries aren't ghosts either, but you get what I'm saying, actual real ghosts cannot have babies only beings among the living can have offsprings, also Ghost-TYPE Pokemon can not only breed with OTHER Pokemon but they also can breed WITH EACH OTHER, keep that in mind, the Pokemon tower in Lavender Town is said to be resting ground of deceased Pokemon, but it is full of mostly ghost Pokemon, but the one ghost that is EXPLICITELY STATED to be a deceased Pokemon (Cubone) is shown in its ORIGINAL FORM/SPECIES (rather than as a Gastly or Haunter, for instance, another thing you should keep in mind). So Ghost-TYPE Pokemon cannot really haunt or possess anything, not in the most literal sense of the word, but they can inhabit a Rotom dex or phone with their special abilities or exercise a certain amount of mind-control on people if they so choose. Given this, my thought would be that ghost-TYPE Pokemon and ghosts of Pokemon are two separate concepts, and that the Ghost-TYPE is a reflection of their GHOST-LIKE abilities and powers, rather than an indication that they are deceased former Pokemon. We see the ghost of a Cubone mother in the Gen 1 games, and it's still it's normal type (Ground) if I recall correctly, so we know ghosts of deceased Pokemon aren't Ghost- type pokemon. I find it likely that the vast majority of Ghost-TYPE pokemon are just normal live pokemon that display GHOST-LIKE like properties rather than actually being ghosts. Ghost-type Pokemon aren't real ghosts, just living creatures with ghostly traits. Also, not only can Ghost-type Pokemon have offsprings, but also how can you be born if you're dead to begin with? The fact that Ghost-TYPE Pokemon can breed and be born prove they aren't actual ghosts. Are all Ghost-type Pokémon the ghosts of Pokémon? Certainly not. In fact, very few of them are, and even the ones that are said to be ghosts can breed and the Pokedex entries contain nonsense at times. Best way to sleuth this out is simply to read Pokédex entries on Bulbapedia (reading them all in-game would require about a dozen games). Here is a few examples of Ghost-TYPEs not being actual ghosts. Gastly: Born from gases, anyone would faint if engulfed by its gaseous body, which contains poison. Banette: A doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it. Jellicent: Its body is mostly sea water. And that's just a few examples. The fact that you can take virtually all ghost types to the daycare and have them breed is a big indication that many overlook. I’ve been playing since XY (I love them but that’s not the point) in every game I’ve been drawn to those spooky, scary places. Where the people talk of loss of their Pokémon. It’s sad but peaceful. And after the loss of my Aunty. Lavender towns and every other resting place always makes me incredibly sad yet….there’s That feeling of home. It’s hard to describe. But it’s….it’s nice..

Fantasy Worlds, More such Pokemon ambience videos please. Suggestions: Ten Carat Hill's Farthest Hollow area with wind sounds and cute Carbink cries (just like in the games); Alola beach with sounds of waves and Mantine cries; Brooklet Hill with rain sounds (just like in the games); Unova Marine Tube with bubble sounds and swimming sounds (this place is full of water-types), Undella Town or Undella Beach with wave sounds and Water-type cries (Chinchou, Starmie, Jellicent), etc. That'd be awesome. Ghost types are my favourite! Whenever I play a Pokémon game, I always try to have a Gastly, a Haunter, and a Gengar on my team at the same time, or at least in my PC box.
