Those beautiful glass pieces make great gifts. I buy all of them i can throughout the year, then at Christmas time i fill them with Christmas candy, cookies, nuts & fruits, then i give them away to my mail lady, teachers...along with just random people. Plus when i go to Christmas parties, I put whatever i make to take in a beautiful vintage dish and leave it for the host. I also find everything i can about the dish, print it out and attach it to the dish so the person will know the history of it. ❤ If i go to a company party, i always take cookies or candy. I write a note saying "whoever ate the last piece of candy, gets to take my beautiful dish home", then i tape it to the bottom of the dish, and place a piece of candy on top. 🎉

The umbrella is for your golf clubs in the bag to keep them dry. It has a long handle to secure it all the way along the bag, as the bag will give it more support. The orange lid had a handle that was the same metal as the pot.

Hi Karen-I LOVE your videos! Watched for the first time this week. As a lifelong antiques lover, I l am retired and live in a small town in VA and volunteer in my church thrift shop, St.Peter's in Oak Grove VA. We do about $1500 each time we are open (3 hrs on Wed. & Sat.) I manage the eBay sales also. You and Roger are inspiring me to try to sell more items for our shop. We price things cheaply in the store because of the demographic of our area. Thanks for being you! CW

Hey, Karen! I have been watching you since 2019. You are such a wonderful person. I'm so grateful you choose to share with us all your hard-earned knowledge. The hard goods are so fun to watch. So I'd never want to lose those haha. But I myself have to focus most of my efforts on reselling clothing, as I don't have much room to store items at my house. Therefore I do really appreciate learning about what to watch for clothing-wise. Either way, I'm just happy to join you on your reselling journeys. Thanks for inviting us to watch!

Those red pottery urns with lids from Italy were gorgeous and worth several hundred dollars. The cracked lid on one wouldn't have been a deal breaker as most people would use them for display and hide the repair. It's hard to know what to get, though. @@LJack-ck8uh Sounds mean to say, but I am inclined to agree with you! They are waaay too greedy for their own good... I mean they get ALL of their inventory for FREE! BUT now they want to get full value like eBay does. It's really absurd. I really hope they price themselves out of the market and suffer for lack of customers and sales... they need to realize that they're NOT the only game in town! Great bargains and excellent thrifting experiences can always be found at yard sales, estate sales, and flea markets. I've no empsthy in my heart for the likes of Goodwill Industries.

However, the orange lid does in fact belong with the pot. It is definitely supposed to be the lid for that pot. You've probably already got this info, but just in case, here it is. Happy Sunday Karen & Roger! Enjoyed your video as always with coffee & brunch! The hamper was lovely & pristine. My English Mum always sat me on the hamper (mid to late 50's era) while she put my hair up in pipe cleaners & told me stories of when she was stationed in a haunted castle in Scotland during WW2! It started me wondering what happened to that hamper? Great Memories! I know I prefer hard goods as it covers a vast amount of items. I feel inspired today as I have numerous boxes to packed away from my mountain cabin & also many items belonging to my parents & their families. Health issues keep me at home so make the best of it!😂 Patty 🐦🎶🌸 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁

That unusual doll vignette with the old man and his grandson was a celebration of the Jewish Friday night dinner Shabbat. They each have on a yarmulke and the table has the candles they light and challah bread. Could also be a celebration for Ha·nuk·kah or the boy's bar mitzvah? But definitely a Jewish celebration.

Love the video! So relaxing watching you like tv 😊. In your ink blot I saw an upside down map of the earth 😁. I’m sure you’ll see it too 😉. See you on Wednesday 🤩😀

What an amazing laundry basket. I like the mix that you do of both hardgoods and clothing.
