Thanks for sharing these rare machines. I was fortunate to work with a factory trained Laverda mechanic. Learned a lot from this guy. I remember him commenting how well built they were. However he was a huge Ago fan (weren't we all) and MV was his favorite brand.

Ho avuto il piacere di possedere per diversi anni la 1000 3c e successivamente la 1000 RGS . Ho viaggiato con esse anche all'estero suscitando sempre l'attenzione dei motard locali (Scozia, Francia, Olanda, Cecoslovacchia, Jugoslavia) e io orgoglioso di essere italiano su una moto italiana. Che piacere!!!!!!

@@andreasalini6848 Well ... I was there also ... all years from 1980 to 1990. GP of Yugoslavia ... thousands of motorcycles parked around and many many thousands of spectators. If you maybe remember, the best part of the "show" was in camp area in Preluk near Opatija (parts of old Preluk race track). Cheers Andrea!

Having owned an SF750 i would dispute the assertion that they vibrate. Set up properly they do not vibrate in the way you describe. Yes if is a 360 deg. twin so some vibration is present, but i still have all my fillings. Belive me i have a lot of fillings!

They weren't good bikes. They all vibrated like crazy. The Laverda 1000 had a bamboo frame, rusted, and vibrated like crazy. The Jota was an improvement with a beefed-up frame and a 120 degree crankshaft and a stronger output chain.

@@goran2003 The Laverda 1000 was; the Laverda 1000 Jota wasn't. The 750 was great but too much vibration. It's too bad that they never went ahead with their 90 degree V6 version.
