Hello Heidi. It was me who had mentioned that u were using Bristol Vellum. I wanted to point that out so u don’t accidentally purchase the Smooth. Ur cards turned out lovely ☺ & definitely shorter time spent ink blending! Thanks for sharing. Oh, btw, u asked how long we say “Happy New Year?” For me, it’s typically w/in that first week or less. After the 2nd or 3rd day, I only say it if someone else does first. We haven’t celebrated New Years by going out or going to someone’s house party in probably 30 years! Gosh, I sound old saying that, haha. It’s just not worth it. We don’t go out like that any other time. When our 16 yr old was younger, we always stayed up w/ him, did fun stuff & watched the ball drop & the fireworks. He got a kick out of it. Now, we all watch the ball drop together, then about 15-20 minutes later, we’re snoring…lol 🤣🤣. That’s the extent of our “celebrating.” In the south United States, a die hard tradition for New Years Day is that u must eat black eyed peas for good luck throughout the coming year. I truly don’t know the origin or why black eyed peas. But I’ve faithfully eaten black eyed peas (which r delicious) every New Years Day for as long as I can remember 😉🥰😍. Take care Heidi. 🥰💕😉
@heidi-theyorkshirecrafter11 ай бұрын
Never tried black eyed peas. Don't think uk as a tradition x As for the vellum finish I didn't know I had it as I normally buy the smooth and I love that so I would buy either x

Just love this idea! I can’t wait to try it! I’ll have to because I won’t have time forever! But I saved it! I thought the gilding flakes were called flame but I love the color you used on the circles! I don’t like gold so not so easy to find gilding flakes! I like silver. But the multi color would be stunning on a fall card! I must get some!

Gorgeous cards! 😍Just a tip for the foil, if you run it through your diecut machine, the pressure sould be fine and the coverage more even. Just put it in a copy paper so your plates don't put marks on the foil. And I am sure you know this, just found that it helped me 😃

Thanks Heidi, I'm going to order one now along with the sissix paste. The make up effect sponges are the same as the scoochie and do the same thing.
