Thank you so much peng you (friend) ! This is exactly what I needed, my touch calibration was off, touch was only going on a slant line, (regardless wherever I touched. It was a total mess worse than your touch screen honestly). But yeah touching with five fingers, bought the touch calibration thingie, and it immidiately went a lot lot better. After like another 2 touch calibrations finally the android head unit was back to normal.

🥰 No... i don't have iPhone. It was taken with my Samsung S20 phone. Old phone though. Anyways, I just take its mp4 file directly out of the phone. Not sure how you do that with iPhone by exporting. If you are iPhone user, can't you just take out the video file directly?

@@amilcarherrera6077 my wild guess is the updated firmware does not implement this touch calibration function properly. So you're out of luck. I never updated mine since i got it 3+ years ago. Unless you know what original firmware is for your unit, u can revert it back. But updating these Chinese android head unit is a daunting task since we barely know what the real hardware lying underneath. Anyways, best of luck to you. Hope it will work out for you after all! 🥰

When you use 5 finger, did it open up the touch calibration where you need press/touch those red dots in order 1, 2, 3, and 4. It should automatically save the settings after you finish all 4.

@@SeanKing-jl9xy really in that case, your hardware is failure if it doesnt respond. What i find is that some screen, touch setting is mapped offset meaning you touch it slightly to the right/left of it for it to respond. Final method is to reset if you dont mind loosing all data and settings. If reset doesnt work, return the unit if you can due to hardware failure.

At the end, of touch calibration, my firmware will automatically open soft menu button setting. If yours doesnt open soft menu button setting as in the video, your firmware might be in the car setting-> parameter setting menu. Just try to search for it

Yes. I think it's supposed to do that. it sounds like you have similar firmware. How do you want to fix? when driving at night in the dark at least that is an option to turn the screen off. idk. So you want to turn the screen off when hitting "power" button and brightness to dim the light?

Well, I just thought when pressing, it go to night mode and day mode. But now I'm used to it. yeah for those you need to go into "Factory Setting" then enter the password for your unit to access. Once in, look for something called Key LED lighting/colour and increase the brightness. You know whats weird? it just happened yesterday that i cant seem being able to change the color as well as the brightness of those side soft buttons on the side any more. Damn Chinese #AHU

Either touch hardware has an issue with your screen or firmware/software issue. Does "touch" work as intended? Mine works but weird things happen as seen in the video. If hardware screen issue, we cant do much about it unless we replace the screen. If software/firmware issue, maybe 5 finger method is not supported in your version of software or the firmware is corrupted. Ressetting might help in case your firmware is corrupted. if it's hardware problem, resetting wont help much.

What apps do you install in it? Some apps do intensively run in the background thus over heating the chip. Try to actually clear out all the apps by uninstalling it to see if that is the problem causing automatically shutdown. During hot summer day, i usually cover my android head unit to protect from direct sunlight exposure. Hope these tips would help!

if no physically touching the unit but it acts on it own randomly, you might have a faulty touch screen. if resetting the unit doesn't solve the problem, it is most likely hardware problem. (unit over heating... corrupted ram..... and such .... who knows what.???) I do "sometimes" experience it randomly but not a really huge issue. Let's just call it a software/hardware glitch. The more apps you install in your system, more likely it will overheat and give you software/hardware glitch. it means that you calibrate it backwards. There is an order to press 4 red buttons. Try pressing in different order of those red calibration buttons to see if it solves the problems. Best of luck there. btw.

Use mouse to connect to one of your usb port. Go into setting and find touch parameter settings to reset it. Hope it works out for you.

@@migentaf8291 if you dont worry loosing all the data, yeah you can reset the firmware and put it back to factory setting. But you have to undetstand, there are 2 possibilities why your touch not working. Either software issue which we can fix or hardware problem which we cannot fix ourself.

Sorry to hear that. It may just be that your android head unit firmware doesnt support that touch calibrating function. Try use usb mouse and go into parameter setting page/menu to see if you can find any touch calibrating setting. Hope it helps! 👍

My touchscreen is unresponsive along with soft buttons. Reset was done as well and no change. The buttons that were set from the steering wheel works so that's how I'm able to navigate. Any advice?

you have to identify whether it is a hardware issue or software issue. If touch functionality due to hardware issue, all you can do is to use wireless mouse. If software issue, you can fix by the above video. Cheers and best of luck to you.
