But what if the difference between Blackbeard and Xebec was that Xebec wanted to be King of the World but has never hidden it from the start, a look like Luffy, which made people treat him much more seriously right away, making unusual allies like Roger and Garp come together quick against him. While Blackbeard hides his plans and is okay with manipulating everybody into joining them as a “supposedly”ally, just to do the ultimate backstab by betraying the pirate alliance and the World again, like a true Pirate would do. So instead of Dragon defeating him, they convince each other to use their force against the WG. He betrayed Whitebeard, he betrayed the WG and the Shichibukai system, just to betray his supposed side as a pirate once again.

Damn bro I'm touched.. personally i have Dragon as Top 2 after Imu. As blackbeard is still inexperienced to fight an endgame luffy or current shanks. But if he got defeated by Dragon this soon in the game, then his come back would be a whole different issue. He would be able to take on anyone. I believe for shanks and luffy to meet, as well as for kidd to develop into a threat Oda has presented Him to be, BB would've to be out of the picture momentarily so that all the final pieces are in place, for th war that will Split the oceans like Roger predicated. Right now BB has busted devil fruits, but no top tear haki, and no awakening that we're aware of. This would defeat law but not any other yonko currently. Admirals at the moment don't seem like the right candidates to enhance BB level but Dragon could show Him the ceiling, and if BB comes back with conqueror's coating and an awakening of both DF then he would be the ideal obstacle for luffy to face before fighting IMU.. This theory was amazing bro

I have a theory cross guild is in the early stages of becoming the future NATO of the pirate world. We already see buggy inspiring and changing croc and mihawk when he talked about finding the one piece. Mihawk always worked alone and never considered chasing to become the pirate king, but buggy's speech rallied him and made him think about his motivations. I don't have any real evidence but I like them holding roles to controlling the chaotic nature of pirate groups forming in the future. One yonko and two former warlords who can quell most rebellions or the people trying to make a regime change after the world government as you put it.

I like that! It would put the idea that buggy falling upwards and becoming the “king of the world” make more sense. Since in this aspect, buggy is an empower with warlords that keep things in check. Making him the complete opposite of luffy. Luffy becoming the pirate king and having the most freedom and buggy becoming “the king of the world” and not being actually free…

A lot of stuff presented here is great! How you tie it all together at the ene though i entirely disagree with. Many people seem to be on the team of Imu is now the final boss. I think he is going to be the second to last boss. I firmly believe that whatever happens at egghead will be the incitint incedent to have dragon start his war against the celestials. Just like Marineford, Blackbeard makes his move on Imu. Whatever that may be (third devil fruit or no) the end result is that the "stability" provided by the world government is lost and the world is thrown into chaos. After that you have a race to laughtale between the strawhats and blackbeard.

Sabo was there when Law fought Doffy. He could have been supposed to fight him or help, but Luffy was there, plus an admiral. Much more likey that Law is Sword. I'm picturing Luffy having no interest in the war and Dragon saying some about how they stole freedom from the whole world or his friends, and Luffy getting instantly ready. Blackbeard doesn't seem to be at Luffy's level a loss and regrowth would make him and his crew much more worthy opponents later.

I always wondered since he could have easily parted ways in zou and at the time I didn’t expect to see him continue on after his character arc came full circle after doffys defeat. A Marine of sorts... I think I recognized Shiryu. Remember? He used to work at Impel Down, together with Magellan. But Shiryu's opinion of prisoners led to him being imprisoned himself. So when Luffy invaded Impel Down and caused chaotic trouble inside that Prison (trying to save Ace), Shiryu was temporarily set free to assist the prison wardens. However, as he was still on a death parole, Shiryu instead decided to ask to join the Blackbeard Pirates, who seemed to make an assault attack on Impel Down to likely gather devil fruit powers. Having given that a thought, it crossed my mind that Captain Buggy could be better off if he tried to persuade Marshall D. Teach to ally with the Cross Guild... But anyway, the Jolly Roger that Law uses may be associated too much to what Donquixote Donflamingo and his family had in use, so it might be advantageous to sort of kept it hidden.
