A very helpful vidio. However I stuck with these sum "There is a boat (30kg) at the rest on the water. Also there is a dog (15kg)in the boat. Suddenly the dog start to walk along the boat with a velocity. If dog has a "u" velocity relative the earth what is the velocity of the boat relative the earth.? How should I solute these sum. Could you give a little explanation.

Remember Newton's third law of motion. Action and reaction are equal and opposite.

Forces will be the same even though mass is different as acceleration of the lighter object will be more and that of the heavier object will be less. Thus, forces will be equalized.

Negative sign in with F2 shows that it is acting in opposite direction with respect to the F1. So it's just to show direction of action of force. If negative sign wasn't there then it means that both the forces are in same direction! 😇
