Write a conclusion if possible. Otherwise write “no conclusion possible.” If you write a conclusion, determine whether you used Law of Syllogism or Law of Detachment or neither. Basketball players are tall. Stephen is a basketball player. A. Stephen is tall. Used Syllogism B. Stephen is tall. Used Detachment C. Stephen is tall. Used neither D. No conclusion possible. Im confused on which one the right answer is, can you help me?

+Elisa Maknojia B is the one you want. Rewrite the statement as a conditional in if-then form. If you are a basketball player then you are tall. Since Stephen satisfies the hypothesis (the part after the if) then he must be tall (the conclusion, the part after the then). If the problem read something like: if you are a basketball player then you are tall. If you are tall then people will look up to you. Stephen plays basketball. What can you conclude? People must look up to him.(Law of syllogism)
