The fact that you took subjects as many as a non-working student would take in a sem, nakakabilib talaga yung mga working students. Currently in my 2nd year (also in UE law) and I resigned from my job a few months back. The idea was that I will be able to study well if I resign but still failed one of my subjects. I hope that I will be able to bounce back next sem.

Are exams in law schools more focused on essays or multiple choice?

@@SkyMakayan I googled it, and it says the exam consists of 80 percent essay questions and 20 percent multiple choice. The essay-type questions may be a reason for the low bar passage ratings, as more than half of the examinees struggle to write a coherent English paragraph and often exhibit incorrect grammar. In the Philippines, bar exams focus on memorizing the civil and criminal codes. I remember a case where a lawyer grading the bar exam had to award points to an answer with horrific grammar. Despite the incorrect structure, the necessary concepts were present, compelling the grader to give points for the response

actually, most profs in law school are deemed as “terror profs.” it’s just that this sem, i was blessed with amazing profs and it’s just a bonus that they’re all nice. never compare college with law school ☺️

@@ran_haibara LEB mandated na na all law schools should conduct full f2f classes this sem. some schools offer online classes only until Midterm exams this sem (like Arellano)
