Unbelievable how Chandler's crimes affected so many people's lives. Everyone testifying in court, family, neighbors, co workers, investigators were traumatized by his actions. He really thought he could outsmart the legal system. All he should have done is tell his loving parents he was having depression and needed help. They would have done anything to aid him to get well. Instead he weaves a complex "web" of lies in which he gets caught up in. Even at that point he could have come clean but decides murder is the only way out. 🥵😮💨☹😱🤕

@@c.2538 It's possible he admitted to them he killed his parents. The attorneys never said he was innocent, just that the state didn't prove it. I've seen a lot of people, including some attorneys, criticizing their performance. They all mostly ignore the fact that the prosecution had mountains of evidence. (not counting the closing argument...that was pretty bad imo) I saw one 'KZbin Attorney' say if she here the defense attorney she would have supposed an 'other person' to blame so creating reasonable doubt. The problem is there was no possibility of another person being at the house or killing the parents instead of Chandler. I guess she didn't actually watch the trial.

Many people don't take into consideration that most of the time the Prosecution and Defense are actually friends outside of the court room. My entire family are Attorneys and/or LE. One of my uncles who is a well known attorney in my area, is best friends with my county's DA. Before the DA was a DA and my uncle was a civil attorney, way back in the day, they both worked as public defenders together. In most places it was a requirement to work as a Public Defender for a while before moving on. We have Christmas parties with the entire DA's office present as well as public defenders, civil attorneys and defense attorneys. Everyone knows everyone outside of work. Most people do get along. It's nothing personal, it's just a case. People on the outside looking in, take things a bit too personal. Now there are people that just don't get along, but it's like that in every profession.

Chandler doesn’t capitalize Cat’s name in the text, to me that’s disrespectful when you do that, especially if it’s your girlfriend and you’re referring to her to someone who hasn’t met her yet. Notice the co-worker does capitalize names when referring to other people in the texts. I know texts are informal and you don’t have to have perfect grammar and some people have disabilities but capitalizing names shows respect period. Cat is young she can definitely do so much better. These type of men use their families to create a bond with their partners, knowing they have kind and caring hearts, that even if they second guess them, they’re so attached to the family they’ll stay. You can tell Cat was very close to his parents and they loved her and treated her with respect. Realizing that the person you built so many dreams with, it was all fake is eye opening, but it’s experienced gained. All of the victims’ loved ones will hold onto the fond memories.

Krista's boss said she didn't request off for the cabin vacation she text Chandler about. If Chandler ever had a job, he might have realized that people need to request vacation days to take vacations. They babied him to such an unheard of level, they created an actual monster. If your 23 year old is "grounded", you're doing something wrong. That isn't close to normal. They wanted a baby, so he threw a tantrum & killed them with 5 mins of planning like a baby, didn't understand the gravity of what he did, & told them baby fibs so he could play video games. This is what they decided to do though, I'm not surprised he killed them instead of getting grounded from his girlfriend again. That isn't an appropriate way to handle a grown man, it's psychotic.
