I heard about this case last week. From what I read, the grandma didn't like her daughter in law, in fact thought she was "polluting the family genes" or something along those lines. Does anyone remember a while back when a grandmother was walking with her granddaughter on a bridge that crossed a street between two buildings and she picked the baby up and threw her off of the bridge onto the street below? When the cops asked her why she did it she said that she was tired of the baby's parents giving the baby more attention than they were giving her (the grandmother). So she decided that if the baby wasn't around then they would pay more attention to her! What sort of grandmother is jealous of her own grandbaby? And who objects to her son and daughter-in-law (or daughter and son-in-law, I don't remember which this was) showing affection for their own baby? So when questioned as to why she did it she said “That was not my grandbaby. Sorry, not sorry” and then when asked if she thought she should be punished she said “no”. The detectives asked why and she replied “because fair is fair. You attempted on me and I beat you at your own game. Checkmate.” WTF does that even mean? Why on earth is this demon not in prison for the rest of their life? 9-12 years means she will be 52-55 when she gets out. I’ve seen far larger sentences for dealing or tax fraud.

She should’ve been charged with attempted murder as she obviously shot her grand baby in the face/head to take her life. She knew what she was doing. What a pathetic excuse for a human being
