I think he may have had a narcissist personality and I think she may have one as well... I think there may have been a lot that happened behind closed doors that could point blame to both of them in terms of abuse. Maybe they both triggered each other or knew how to trigger each other and weaponized that to push the narrative that the other is crazy/uncontrolled/rage-filled/etc- its a typical narcissistic way of fighting/being defensive. Whether he or she were pushed to their limit, something bad was going on behind closed doors that only the two of them know the truth of... the fact that she is hesitant to speak about what happened really adds to her looking guilty imo

Thing is when your in that situation you don’t tell people you are ashamed you allowed yourself to be treated so badly they always are sorry and say the usual it won’t happen again, but it’s the mental abuse that’s insidious gets a person to become a shell and scared. I don’t know so far I am believing her but I shall keep open mind as to what evidence comes out. In my case people close knew something wasn’t right but when your in the eye of the storm you can’t see it.
