@@Miss_SkiPp_8812China doesn’t allow dual citizenship though. But still, why is it that an American citizen cannot live in China though?
@Miss_SkiPp_88123 ай бұрын
@cee_el right? Like, her mother held dual citizenship. From what I've been told both by parents who hold dual citizenshi, and kids who held it via their parents- is that you have it because it's your birth right. As in even though you were born in let's say new Zealand- mom and dad were on a baby moon - you decided to come early or factors made you come early. Mom and dad didn't plan this but that's what happened. Those kids hold it solely because of the place they were born. But what about the kids whose parents were in America wether for a trip, or through marriage or in the middle of acquiring citizenship- those kids also hold duals sometimes, and it's nothing like the hoops these grands had to go through just to remain in her life. Maybe china just has super weird laws tied to this kind of thing? I'm not sure. But I'm curious about it, that's for sure. I kind of thought because of her mothers status, she automatically had it, because most places kind of follow that some guidelines of if the mother had dual citizenship or the father is the one with sole custody and has it the child does as well. It's usually when the parent caring for the child travels back and fourth alot with the kid as well that this kind of thing becomes more of a benefit if I'm not mistaken. Leaves alot of the hassle out for traveling as often as some do.

I learned from Chinese media that Mengqi did not cheat on him. Initially, they argued about small things, but the situation worsened when Mengqi's mother came to take care of her granddaughter. This is when things took a turn for the worse-Joe began cursing at Mengqi's mother in English and demanded that Mengqi remove her from their household. He detested everything his mother-in-law did and said, and he had a deep disdain for Chinese culture and language.

I think defending a murder er not so bad as lying to the court that said murderer had come clean and told the truth before the body was found. And then leading him on the stand with the obviously coached and rehearsed story of her death. The explanation for the broken ribs should've been enough to disbar that lawyer. ( Lawyer was goodlooking and confident, bet that helped Pinnochio.)

I think the killers family should have no rights when a child is involved. The victims kid or kids should automatically be given to the victims families to be taken cared of. No matter what state or in this case country. If law finds it safe and secure too. If that makes sense.

As of right now if have to agree. I mean there's no way your kind of up bringing from your family has nothing to do with if you go on to murder/harm people. It doesn't come out of nowhere. Either they were bad people themselves and he saw that, they saw that he was a bad person and did nothing about or they were completely oblivious to how horrible he was. In domestic murder cases, I have watched so far, murdering a partner does not solve anything only tragedies for all sides, particularly for their innocent children. They lost one parent to death and the other to prison. Divorce is a better option no matter how much anger, resentment, financial downfall, or betrayal the parents feel toward each other.

It would have been nice if Mengqi had known her rights. He could not have her deported. She would be allowed to stay and raise her child who was born in the USA while she was there legally. He likely would have lost custody because of the child abuse (some women stay with abusive spouse to protect the cild(ren) from being alone during joint custody so seek advice). When a spouse is going through immigration they should be given a pamphlet in their native language on this. An abuser would have a lot of power is this situation and the spouse should be able to seek safety without fear of immediate deportation.
