Especially considering the taste....I don't think Megan was innocent in this! She had called her family and was talking about the "world ending on the 28th". Megan was clearly unstable and obsessed with the apocalypse (according to her own family). She was into some werid spiritual cult like stuff. I think they both agreed to kill the kids before the "apocalypse". My guess, Todt was supposed to kill the kids, kill her, the dog, and then kill himself.. but like a true coward he couldn't finish the job. The fact that he killed the dog tells me that he did want the "whole family" to be together in the afterlife. I think the fraud charges and the financial issues pushed him and Megan over the edge. I actually believe Todt when he says that him and Megan planned this and told the kids that they would all die and be together. Todt's statement at the sentencing hearing was the most bizarre and infuriating thing I've ever heard. Absolutely mind boggling, this guy is a true coward and an absolute psychopath.

Wow, after living in the home for 3 weeks with the family he murdered, he tells the police upon arrival that his wife is sleeping upstairs, doesn't answer about the children. Then says in the court that he wanted to preserve his wife's dignity by taking the hit for her crimes. This is the most undignified treatment of a family possible.

She had Lyme disease from what I've read. I'd assume to have the dx of Lyme she had it. It's found by a western blot blood test. But not really much on her illness at all. I tried to find more info on both their thinking of the end of the world as well. The comments in the wellness check requests to 911 gave me pause.

@@elainehenning1387 family and friends of hers testified that she did have a few side effects from Lyme but was otherwise perfectly healthy. She taught yoga, walked with friends regularly, was social and active…. Anthony is a liar.

All of these pieces of garbage family annihilators always say that their wife was the mastermind behind her own and her children's murders. They're cowards right up to the end. I followed this case in the true crime groups from when Meg and the kids were missing and Tony's sister was in those groups begging for help getting information on their whereabouts. Tony reminds me so much of Diane Downs. You can't understand how depraved he is until you watch the entire video of him being interrogated, where he very casually describes how he killed his kids and wife. He never owned up to how he murdered Breezy also, but according to the coroner (who performed a necropsy on her, as I recall) and police, he stabbed her 6 times as well. I have no sympathy for his family. As soon as he was arrested, he started blaming Meg and his sister and parents ate it up and started bad mouthing her, much like Chris Watts's parents did. They're all awful.

What I’ll never understand is how he was able to live with the bodies. It’s pretty obvious with the fraud and financial problems why he killed them, but how could you watch your family’s bodies just decompose like that.
