And on the other side (my mom’s side) we were raised with the belief that you are in control of your own outcomes no matter how bad things get. fr! i was on the bus a couple days ago going to school, and i have a bus driver who may be a smidge over the top (she screams "ABSO-LUTE-LY NO EATING ON THE BUS!") but i mean she really is doing her job and just following the rules. she has the authority because she is the driver. anyway, she was telling these kids- by the way, we are SENIORS in high school- to sit down or something, and they were cracking jokes and like just completely disrespecting her. its honestly sickening. yeah, maybe you dont always agree, but bottom line, these people have the authority, and we have to respect them. simple as that

I agree with you. That was very well stated. What sad is it's not just the kids, it's also the parents. That is just my observation being a little bit older. The parents appear to get away with that type of behavior. Their kids see it and think they can act the same way and get away with it. So it's not one generation it's two generations. This also could be any kids anywhere in the United States. It appears there is no upbringing or sadly any family structure. It's not about rising above it's about treating human beings like human beings, and having self-control. Don't let what happened to you as a kid be the way you behave once you become an officer or the reason why you even became one. Those kids aren't saying anything that's helping the case, in the officers got who they wanted they could have been walked off. Why are they even standing there entertaining children?

@@kaijazakora6644 I believe for the most part they have morals. The difference is in the power of belief. They have been raised in an environment where everyone they respect, as well as the media have led them to believe all police are bigoted and ready to treat them unfairly. While unbiased research and observation would show this isn't the case, a belief carries a lot of weight. Selfishness, as well as a lack of certain morals plays a part, but belief has way more power.
