Not sure when this... "Let's reward bad behavior" came into effect but to me that is when our world started to crumble. I see a lot blaming the parent's. I would not blame the parent's. Social media has a huge part. Don't get me wrong there are absent parent's who simply do not care. If we could just go back to the 70's.

They were raised this way by mom or aunty or grandma. It truly is the whole community that enables and encourages this behavior. If you watch the video you can see an older lady come in and start talking to the cops. She wanted her picture taken.

the parents of these people have no respect for others either , that is how they learned the behavior . Nice real nice. Get jobs work for what you have and learn some facts about life. The taxpayers who support you would like it .

That was exhausting just watching. I used to work with at-risk teens, then late teens to early 20's gangbangers out in South Central/Compton/East L.A areas and now from time to time still deal with them on a not so pleasant level as a Deputy and I've been raising kids of my own going on 23 years. To say the least, I'm exhausted when it comes to kids....well, people in general but juveniles especially. Ready to retire and move to a beach house in Puerto Rico.

When I was their age 45 years ago if the police showed up to a house party it was “yes sir, no sir” and there was zero guns ever. What’s happening today is insane and I really do feel for these young people that are being lied to and that are modeling other bad behavior. It’s obviously a vicious circle that is hard for them to break out of with the incredible peer and societal pressure they are experiencing.

Individuality is not Respected these days. I'm 57yrs old and I knew when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade I was different from other African-American Kids. I embraced my individuality, my Mom and Dad helped me be strong in who I am and I passed this same sentiment along to my Son.
