megadeth - Liar its a diss track from 1988 before diss tracks existed . Its about a former guitarist who pawned the bands equipment for drugs and a bunch of other stuff .

Megadeth is a bit better than most bands in every aspect. Let's list some attributes. Musicianship, songwriting, lyrics, solos,.....vocals, maybe not so much. I prefer to consider Dave a vocal stylist. His catalogue is larger than most bands. 15 releases over 30 years. My favorite band by a very large margin.

I think it was a fortunate thing when Metallica let Dave Mustaine go. All that did was piss him off enough to create great music. I want to request more of Megadeth's newer stuff like, Trust, A Tout Le Monde, Angry Again, and maybe reach back for Sweating Bullets. I know they have a different sound, but, I think you could expand your Metal horizons by reacting to some Judas Priest. But, please don't just react to Pain Killer, it's a good song..but. I think a good start would be Metal Gods or Hell Bent for Leather. I know I have seen your reaction to Electric Eye by Judas Priest. It was a good reaction. I just wish more channels would react to more JP.

The Rude awakening in the Album title was September 11 2001. They were scheduled to start another tour. Then they woke to the news. (lives in AZ) . since they couldn't travel they put on a live show in Phoinex. Now from the intro from the VH1 behind the music episode " prepare to take a journey to the molten core of speed metal!" Great line. Strobes make everything look like its slow motion sped up. But oh yes full volume & full speed. Dave has read the work of the great philosophers. He has actually died and been brought back...on the operating table. Drug overdose. He's used everything. It was Alice Cooper who gave him life saving advice. If you are going to use [recreational pharmecuticals] pick one. Don't mix them. Solid advice. His story fascinating. Gone from rags to riches in his life but it was not an easy journey and he crashed hard from the drink & drugs and then nerve damage. He had to relearn to play guitar. Currentlly battling cancer! We hope he makes it.
