As an aspiring lawn mower myself, Suda’s spiral method is very fast, but slightly incorrect. Grass needs a special way to be cut, and to make it look nice, it’s good to change the direction. So one full clockwise spiral, should be followed by one full counter clockwise spiral. This is much easier to do with a push mower. Edit: Another thing to note, each time the lawn is cut, it should be cut in a different orientation/pattern to keep the grass healthy.

It also depends on how tall the grass is. This isn’t real, but looks like it would be fairly tall grass. Cutting clockwise would cause a large buildup of grass and cuttings. Which isn’t good for the mower.

If you do lake house’s and expensive yards the spiral method is not the move. You are to put strips in them diagonally or up and down. Just FYI
