Grass Daddy I kind of feel like I under watered because that area between the street and driveway looks the best and also retained the most moisture. I was only able to water once every other day. I don't know if you can water to much. Keep in mind this is 90% turf type tall fescue vs your 100% Kentucky blue grass. TTTF germinates way faster then KBG. But your KBG has rhizomes so as time goes on your yard will eventually fill in. Looking at the last few videos I made I'm able to really see the difference a week makes. Looking at the yard every day it's kind of hard to really see the differences. Give it time!

Yeah the only reason I mentioned it, your grass near the swings looks great. There are patches in my lawn that barely came in and I'm trying to figure out why. On the slope I noticed that the areas that don't get hit by sprinklers, it came in, but everywhere else it is non existant..

Grass Daddy I did slice the seed into the ground which may have helped prevent it from washing away. I wonder if that could be the issue you had since you drop spread it. I'm wondering if the seed behind the swing just sat there dormant until we got that rain and then held the moisture since it is kind of shady throughout the day.

Grass Daddy one more thing... I tilled behind the swing too so there was no chance of compaction which could be an explanation.
