When I bought my hydrostatic commercial Honda mower. I though it would be much faster. So I called the shop about it. They told me there was no way to adjust the self propel on the mower to make it faster. When someone tells me there is no way! I do my best to make a way. So in this video I’ll show you how to make your commercial Honda mower with a HRC 216 Honda motor go faster. All it takes is a 10 mm wrench and a few slight adjustments. It’s easy. You’ll see. Just bought a used hrc216 push mower for $100. It handles nice after all Tune up and a little cleaning.

I recently bought one of these as well for homeowner use. I go a medium pace and double cut the lawn looks like carpet now.

Haha. Seems that way, but the truth is the only lawn care guys I see with battery power mowers are home owners. I really only ever see gas powered mowers in lawn care trucks or trailers. In a few months. That might change though. I don’t foresee a major shift to battery power for at least 2 or 3 years. When it makes more financial sense to move to a battery power set up. Greetings from Fresno CA, we can no longer purchase the Honda HRC 216 at our local dealers they only carry residential units. They say Honda has stopped sales in California for the commercial units from what I’ve been told by dealers. Bummer

If you would have done the triming first, then used a blower to blow the cuttings into the yard, then mowed you would have saved many steps. A good yard service trims, blows, cuts, and the blows what is left behind to make a clean nice yard. SMH...

Thanks for the tips. This comment implies absolute truth. In this instance I don't believe it is. Steps would have been used to run a blower twice. After string trimming, again after mowing. Extra steps are needed no? Please consider critiquing the techniques of others puts at risk the validity of a claim. It seems as though ones own standard is in question in his own mind. Please feel free to use what best suits the job. Maybe wording a comment in a kind manner rather than a slight would be best in the future. Either way, I hope this finds you well. Take care.
