A large socket works well to seat the bearing applying pressure to only the outer race. So many folks miss that detail to not beat on the inner race.

Your video is very nice, I understand completely what to do. Unfortunately, I have taken out the old bushings & the new bearings (same kit you have) will not fit, I have a craftsman T3200 that I do not understand. But anyway, thank you for these great instructions.

Great long term upgrade for these lawn tractors. I have a 2020 Cub Cadet XT1 L50- I suppose they're all the same since MTD is the manufacturer.

Use a socket and a short extension to install those bearings

I did this to my Craftsman AND my Husqvarna. Those bearings are sealed, so I carefully removed the INNER FACING seals on each set of bearings with s small, sharp pick and installed them so I could STILL grease them using the zerk fittings. I also did this to all my spindle bearings a short while back. They should require grease ONLY at either the beginning or end of every season, and it should make the bearings last MUCH longer....

Why did you do that with sealed bearings? This why allows dirt to get into the bearings.

How did you find those parts for your riding mower. Mine is 05 YS 4500. Are they the same parts .

my steering wheel is off not strait,,,whats my problem????

Hello Owens! At the bottom of your steering column is a small gear that engages a fan-shaped sprocket. During certain fixes, like draglink replacement, these two can come apart. When you put them back together, you need to be careful that the front wheels and the steering wheel are both in the proper position.
