is the window of the new diarama die the same size/measurments as the opening of the shadow box die? Love this stamp set by the way

No, they are not the same. The Ta-Da! Diorama! opening is 3" x 2 1/2" and the Shadow Box opening is 2 11/16" x 2 3/16" so the shadow box is slightly smaller.
