lawnsweeper makes it easy

Someone blasted you for having a child operating the mower (while not mowing) with bare feet... I think the raking operation is just fine for kids. When I was a kid, I drove the tractor pulling the hay low-boy wagon while the men and older teens tossed hay on it. I really enjoyed how you approached this, with the music and very creative video angles... it's striking really and surprisingly relaxing. Thank you for sharing and don't let others get to you...

@GardenGirls1 yes you can easily raise the height of the brushes at the flick of a switch (or lever as it were) then this makes it suitable for a finer collection

@rvandervelde0 i havent seen snow for so many years but the brushes on the sweeper are strong so i would say they would sweep snow but not ice, maybe it could be modified with different type of brushes to blades or something like that

Didn't know it was considered smart to have a kid drive a lawnmower AND barefooted at that - thanks for setting me straight. That thing does seem to leave a lot of leaves laying on the ground though. :(

Always wear pants and shoes anyway so fleas and ticks don't bite you and give you a disease. Have her dump a little more often so it isn't so heavy also. I would pull the belt off the mower blade also, just to be absolutely safe.

Same here jaylosix. They've always looked gimmicky to me, but check out the Craftsman lawn sweeper vid here on youtube. I'm sold on one for next year's leaf harvest at our place.

im 10 ive mowed lawn for about 2-3 years and my ddad got one and it helps alot so my mom bought one and ive had a few problums but i ajusted it some and now it works great

@ReverendHogwash thanks for your input Reverend?, is there a sign somewhere stating its smart for kids to drive barefoot, i dont know where your from, but here in Queensland 90% of the population are barefoot for 90% of the time, thats just how it is, it used to make me smile but if you cant beat them join them, or in other words live and let live

I've noticed that all of these lawnsweeper videos are very careful not to show the path after the sweeper has passed. It only shows debri going in, but not the grass after the pick up.

I just purchased one and love it so far. I live in an area with large acreage and raking by hand took a week to clean up and this tool does it so much faster.
