BASIC LAWS OF ARITHMETIC
What do we mean by that, yeah?
Well, as we recall, Arithmetic is an elementary branch of Mathematics that talks about numbers and it’s properties.
The basic properties of numbers are: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division.
So, why are there laws to follow?
We want to be able to know the various ways to add, subtract, multiply and divide and still arrive at the same answers. Remember that we can use different methods to get a solution as long as the steps are correct.
In our next class, we would define with examples what each of these laws of Arithmetic means I.e
- COMMUTATIVITY
- ASSOCIATIVITY
- DISTRIBUTIVITY

@@Somng wow, I'm proud of you. What area of research is your PhD based on? Do you plan on teaching as I like your approach. Have you had chance to look at Gabriel Oybio's work on the grand unified theorem Gij,j=0? He's a big inspiration.

@saulwarren9611 Thank you!! I’ve been teaching for over 5 years now. As for my research work, it’s on mathematical modelling (biomaths) due to the supervisor I picked.

@@Somng wow, biomath is fascinating. I'm looking into the nature of Zero and found that cell division and multiplication occurs at the same time. I've found out why cell mitosis occurs in series and sequences from 0 to 1,2,4,8,16... ect upto 1 trillion cells at birth after 41 wks. Maths for some reason doesn't count zero as important, only during place value, following the number 9 or deductive logic yet I believe to understand dark energy we need a new way to look into zero since all numbers come out of there. If I ever did a PhD it would be on the nature of zero and dark energy using geometry. Thank you for your series and sequence videos it helped me a lot. It would be wonderful if you do a video explaining each symbol with examples, definitions and rules for each discipline like you did with Stigma. It's so hard to find decent African centric teachers I appreciate what you do. I also hope you do a full algebra, geometry and calculas class as I'm looking for learning resources when I came across your channel. Bio-math is profound. There are rare diseases that cause bone cells to fuse together and they don't know why, if you can find an equation for the cause and treatment mathematically that would be something special.
